Kanato frowned as he had helped Sarina out with washing herself, she flinched at every moment he did towards her. He knew about the PTSD that she went through-her mother confirmed what was written in the books he read was real and true. He hated knowing that the woman that he loved and adored was afraid of a simple touch from him. Once he finished washing her body and hair he helped her out of the bath before he dried her off and he bent down so he was in front of her breasts. 

"May I Rina? You want to feel like you aren't yucky in more right?"

She nodded her head. "M-Mhm...Y-You may Kanato."

He held onto her back softly as he bit right where Ruki had, instinctively she placed her hands on his shoulders. His eyes widened tasting her blood before he slid her off of the toilet seat and onto his lap as he shut his eyes enjoying the feeling of her blood going through his throat. Once he had enough he cleaned the wound and he held onto the side of her face to kiss her on the lips. 

"Since Subaru isn't anymore, would you be mine now?"

"It's why I went to you instead of one of the others." Sarina said with a nod of her head

He smiled and he pressed his forehead against hers. "You won't regret this Rina. I'm going to take you to my room. No one else is allowed in there so you'll be fine there. I want you to stay there and be under my blanket, I do still need to talk to Reiji and Laito alright?"

"Okay, as long as you don't leave me there for too long."

"I won't. Promise."

Kanato got up with her hugging him like a koala, he smiled at how clingy she had gotten of him. He teleported her to his room placing her down onto his bed and got her under the sheet and comforter. Kanato then kissed the top of her head softly. "I'll be back in a bit."

She nodded her head and kept herself curled up in his blankets. Kanato then went to Reiji first, when he got to his room he opened the door before Kanato knocked on the door. "I hear just about everything from here. What has made Sarina so irate?"

"Subaru cheated on her with Yui for an entire week and didn't even talk to her or acknowledge her. She's also been bit by two of the Mukami brothers. Don't know if either one of them were because she allowed it but she came to me crying and I don't know if it's a good idea to have them here with her around."

"I see...well, keep her company let the rest of us deal with what has happened. I'll personally talk to the half breeds."

Kanato nodded his head before he went back to his room to see that Sarina had fallen asleep with tears in her eyes. He sat by where she lied and ran his hand through her hair. "Why did it take this long for you to want me like I wanted you from the start? What did you see in him that you didn't see in me? I love you...you know that right?"

Kanato knew he wouldn't get an answer, while Sarina slept she looked like a beautiful dead corpse. But he knew she wasn't dead, she didn't smell like the dead did. He kicked his shoes off and decided to cuddle with the naked young woman in his bed for the rest of the night, knowing he wasn't going to fall asleep due to his own nightmares and issues. He sang to her as he kept stroking her hair until he did eventually fell asleep. 

When he woke up he felt something on top of him only to open his eyes to see that it was Sarina who was sitting on top of him with a small smile on her face. "Evening handsome."

He smiled hearing her words, he turned them around making her yelp out in shock as he kept his arms on either side of her head. "Answer me a few questions before I let you up tonight."

She tilted her head to the side curiously as she let out a small hum of confusion. "Why did it take you this long for you to want me like I wanted you from the start? What did you see in Subaru that you didn't see in me? I've always loved you, why would you just push that away for him?"

"Let me answer them in order for you Kanato. Why did it take so long for me to want you like you wanted me from the start? Honestly, it's because of Misty...or rather my crappy mother keeping us apart. When I came back here I talked with her one on one without knowing she was my mother. When I had asked about all of you well she seemed rather afraid of you and urged me not to be around you so I listened...stupidly. I shouldn't have listened to her when she had told me that-and I truly apologize for that. As for your second question, I don't see anything in Subaru that I don't see in you. You are better than him, I was merely brainwashed by the thoughts of my crappy mother to think that he was the better choice when obviously that isn't the case at all." Sarina started to answer and explain before she softly placed her hands on his face softly brushing her thumbs against the sides of his face looking him straight in the eyes.

"I want to confess something to you and I wouldn't ever lie so please don't think that this is merely because of circumstances, but ever since I knew who you boys were in my own time I've always loved you. I've always wondered what it'd be like to kiss you, hug you and just be around you. You've always been my favorite vampire, I've loved you for so long I want nothing more than to keep that love deep in my heart. Subaru is merely third on the list of males that I even remotely like. The second before you even ask is Shu. But Shu already shot me down and Subaru is dead now. You being my number one is merely because of my preferences of males nothing more. I honestly didn't know if you'd ever love me back so I chose before to be around Subaru not knowing what your feelings were since you chose not to make them know that much when I was around the first time around."

Kanato was silent hearing all that she said before he realized that he had set himself up to not be with her when he chose to give her space. Knowing what he had now of her he wasn't going to let her go at all. He pulled her lower body up and moved her closer to him. "Mine, you're mine always and forever. You even think about letting someone else bite you and I will punish you."

"I promise I won't, I am yours and only yours. So what will you do with me now that you have me all to yourself?"

"Knowing just who and what you are, I'm going to make sure you are you are treated like the beautiful woman you are to me. I will love you forever and ever, you're never going to escape me even in death I will keep you by my side." Kanato spoke as he pressed his forehead against hers. 

"Then touch me Kanato, claim my entire body and soul as yours. Take what belongs to you." Sarina spoke with a sincere smile on her face

"You realize if I do this to you now I'm never going to give you up you-" He started to say before she kissed him on the lips as she started to undress him of his shirt. 

He kissed her back as he moved a hand down to her womanhood which made her stop and stiffen up feeling where his hand was. He saw this and looked at her concerned as he frowned. 

"What's wrong Rina?"

"R-Ruki...He...He touched me there last night...it's why I felt yucky the most." Sarina said sadly

Hearing what she said his eyes darkened and he lifted one of her legs over his shoulder rather quickly which stunned her. "K-Kanato?"

"Don't worry, all you'll ever remember from here on out is how I touch you. No one else." He spoke before he bit her inner thigh making her whimper out

His eyes lit up seeing the reaction that he had gotten from her. "You aren't completely numb...interesting. Let's see just where you are the most sensitive shall we?" He said with an amused chuckle
