"What have you brought me, feathered friend?"
asked the Goddess of the Moon
"A lost soul wandering the night
till caught in a Raven's Rune?"
She held up the orb to the night sky
admiring its gently sparkling light
the Raven watched with twinkling eyes
as the little orb burned bright
"Well done," the Goddess said
"New life is born again
with moon dust and cosmic rays
and this soul's beautiful zen."
The Raven stepped back with tilted head
as the orb shifted and transformed
a diamond shape it became
and a new star was born
The star rose into the air
then shot up into the blue yonder
becoming one with constellations
to live a new happily ever after
"It's time for you to search again,"
the Goddess told her Raven friend
"and find another soul lost and forgotten
and bring them to me to make amends."
The Raven cawed, flapped his wings
and took off to the sky
in search of something lost and pure
and incredibly bright
