We spend the rest of the afternoon outside, alternating between splashing in the pool, playing football with the kids, or just lounging and cuddling with Sofia. The sun began to dip lower in the sky, casting a warm, golden glow over the villa.
As we are heading inside to take a shower, we notice Adrian struggling to dry off his two sons, Henry and Isaac, who are squirming and wriggling away from the towel.
Sofia immediately walks over to him and picks up Isaac, the three-year-old. "Let me give you a hand," she says, expertly wrapping the little boy in a towel.
"Thanks, Sofia," Adrian says, looking relieved as Sofia manages to calm Isaac down with her gentle touch.
I lean in to give Sofia a quick kiss before heading inside. In the living room, I find Lisa, Hannah, James, and Finn chatting comfortably.
I glance back and see Isaac falling asleep on Sofia's shoulder, his little face nuzzled against her neck, clearly exhausted from today's activities.
"Noah, looks like you'll have some work to do in the future, huh?" Hannah teases, nodding towards Sofia and Isaac.
Lisa chimes in, "Yeah, Sofia's a natural with kids. It's only a matter of time before she'll want some of her own."
James smiles, adding, "She's really good with them. It's nice to see."
I smile, feeling a warm sense of pride and affection for Sofia. "Yeah, she really is," I agree.
Finn, who has been quiet until now, suddenly makes a weird comment, "Well, Noah, you better get ready to step up your game. Seems like Sofia might have a knack for motherhood already."
There is an awkward pause, and I force a chuckle. "Yeah, we'll see about that," I say, trying to keep the mood light.
Lisa quickly changes the subject, sensing the unease. "So, what's the plan for tonight? Are we cooking or are we heading out?"
"We were thinking of cooking here," Hannah replies. "Maybe have a nice, relaxing evening."
"Sounds perfect," I say, glad for the shift in conversation. "Let's get started on dinner then."
As we begin to prepare dinner, I can't help but glance back outside, where Sofia is now gently rocking Isaac, who is fast asleep in her arms. The sight fills me with a sense of contentment and hope for the future, knowing that whatever comes our way, we'll face it together.

After a while, Sofia comes in and gently lays Isaac on the couch, his soft breathing indicating he is completely out for the count. "He's completely out," she chuckles quietly, brushing a stray lock of hair from Isaac's forehead. "I'm going to take a shower."
"I'll come too," I say, putting the pan down and wiping my hands on a dish towel. "We'll be quick," I add, following Sofia upstairs.
We make our way upstairs to our room. The soft light filtering through the curtains gives the room a warm, cosy ambiance. We quickly retrieve some cosy clothes from the drawer and head into the bathroom.
Once inside the shower, the warm water cascading over us, we find ourselves drawn into each other's embrace. Our lips meet in a passionate kiss, the heat between us igniting with each touch.
As we stand under the soothing spray of water, our bodies pressed close, our hands explore every inch of each other's bodies with a gentle urgency. But amidst the desire and the intensity of the moment, we both know where to draw the line. We share tender kisses and affectionate caresses, but nothing more.
After a few moments, we reluctantly pull away, our breathing slightly ragged. We exchange a loving smile, the connection between us deep and undeniable.
"I love you," I whisper, my voice barely above a whisper.
"I love you too," Sofia replies, her eyes shining with love.
With a sense of contentment and closeness enveloping us, we continue to shower together, cherishing the intimacy and the bond we share. And as we step out of the shower, refreshed and rejuvenated, I feel grateful for the love we have found in each other.

We quickly get dressed, and while Sofia dries her hair in our room, I head downstairs to help in the kitchen. Dante has already made his way out of the pool and is sprawled out on the terrace, drying himself off.
Grabbing a towel, I go over to him and start to dry him off. "Hey, buddy, enjoying the sun?" I chuckle as Dante wags his tail happily.
Once Dante is dry, I make my way to the dining area to set the table. The aroma of the cooking food wafts through the air, making my stomach rumble in anticipation.
Sofia joins us at the table, and we all begin to dig into the delicious meal we have prepared. The atmosphere is relaxed and filled with the hum of friendly conversation, the day's warmth still lingering in the air.
We chat about random things—our plans for the next day, the highlights of our trip so far, and funny anecdotes from our past vacations. Laughter fills the room, and it feels like we are one big, happy family.
At some point, Lisa turns to Sofia, a curious smile on her face. "Sofia, you're so good with kids," she says. "Have you ever thought about having some of your own?"
Sofia takes a moment, smiling thoughtfully as she looks around the table. "I do like kids a lot," she begins. "But with my life right now, it would be impossible. My work keeps me on the move quite a bit. But," she adds with a hint of a smile, "I don't rule out the possibility in the future."
I glance at Sofia, feeling a mix of emotions. We have never talked about the possibility of having kids, but hearing her openness to the idea makes my heart swell. I know I want to spend the rest of my life with her, and the thought of building a family together is something I haven't yet put into consideration.
Hannah smiles warmly. "Well, you'd make a great mom, Sofia. It's clear you have a natural way with kids."
"Thank you," Sofia says, her cheeks tinged with a light blush. "That means a lot."
As the conversation shifts to other topics, I can't help but steal glances at Sofia, feeling a renewed sense of love and commitment.
After dinner, we move back to the terrace, enjoying the cool evening breeze and the stars beginning to appear in the night sky. I wrap my arm around Sofia, pulling her close. "You okay?" I whisper.
She looks up at me and smiles. "Yeah, I'm good. Just thinking."
"About?"
"How lucky I am to be here with you," she says softly.
I kiss her forehead, how genuine she is never ceases to amaze me. "I'm the lucky one," I murmur, holding her even closer than before, as we watch the stars together.
