As they walked away from the instrument stall, Jungkook's name lingered in their thoughts. Taehyung turned to Hoseok with a mischievous grin. "Shall we fetch Jungkook now?" Hoseok nodded, his eyes sparkling. "Let's surprise him. He'll love the idea of performing."
The group navigated the bustling market, weaving past vibrant stalls and savoring enticing food aromas. They arrived at a small, unassuming door hidden behind a fabric shop. "This is it," Namjoon said, knocking on the door. "Jungkook's secret hideout."
The door creaked open, revealing Jungkook with a bright smile and slightly messy hair. "What's all the commotion about?"
Taehyung grinned mischievously. "We have a proposal for you." Jungkook's curiosity was piqued. "What kind of proposal?"
Namjoon stepped forward. "We want you to perform at the Seollal festival." Jungkook's eyes widened. "What? Are you guys crazy! The festival is just around the corner!"
Taehyung smirked. "Because we know your weakness: showcasing your talents." Hoseok chimed in, "And bragging rights, of course." Jungkook playfully rolled his eyes. "You're ridiculous."
Namjoon intervened, his voice calm and persuasive. "Seriously, Jungkook, this will be amazing. We'll make it work." Jin added, "And think of the food! You can't resist Seollal treats."
Jungkook's grin returned. "Okay, fine. But if I do this, you guys owe me."

After securing Jungkook's agreement, the group dispersed to complete the market tasks, ensuring every detail was meticulously perfected.
One by one, they finished their assignments and bid farewell, leaving Hoseok alone in charge to oversee the final preparations with precision.
Confident that everything was flawless, Hoseok sought out the King in the grand throne room.
"Your Majesty, all festival preparations are complete," Hoseok reported, bowing slightly, his head inclined in respect.
The King nodded, his expression pleased, a faint smile on his lips. "Thank you, Hoseok. Your dedication and expertise are invaluable."
Hoseok smiled, his eyes shining with pride. "It's my honor, Your Majesty."
The King stood up. "Now, would you like to take a walk on the balcony? The moon is particularly breathtaking tonight."
Hoseok chuckled, "yeah I'd love to."
Together, they strolled onto the balcony, its intricate architecture and serene ambiance creating a peaceful atmosphere.
The moon cast a radiant glow, illuminating the landscape. Hoseok's gaze swept across the kingdom. "It's truly beautiful; our kingdom is blessed with beauty and prosperity."
In his mind, "You're even more breathtaking, Yoongi," Hoseok thought.
He had secretly loved the King since childhood, but never found the courage to reveal his heart.
From the very start, he knew his love was impossible. Yet, he couldn't help but cherish the unspoken feelings he held for the king.
"And how could he? A man cannot love another man, can he? What will society think? They'll call him a weirdo, a witch, or worse. They might even kill him for loving someone of the same gender."
"And the King... how could he love him back? He's the monarch, bound by tradition and duty. And he's Just a loyal subject, unworthy of his affection."
Hoseok's anxiety spiked. "What if the King discovers my true feelings? Will he reject me? Obviously, he will. How could he possibly accept me as his lover, when we're both men?"
The thought of rejection stung. Knowing the King couldn't love him, Hoseok had kept his feelings hidden, locked deep within himself. No one knew, and it would stay that way.
As they walked, the soft wind rustling through trees accompanied their footsteps. The King's presence beside him made Hoseok's heart skip a beat, but fear kept his feelings locked away.
The silence between them was comfortable, a warm understanding that needed no words. Hoseok savored the quiet moment with King Yoongi, their presence together a soothing balm.
But suddenly, Yoongi spoke, breaking the tranquility. "Ah, we have a guest arriving soon."
Hoseok's head snapped up, curiosity piqued. "Who? And why wasn't I informed?"
Yoongi smiled. "The notice arrived today. Princess Yama from Kingdom X will attend our Lunar Festival."
Hoseok's eyes widened. "Kingdom X? But we've had... issues between us for the past five months."
Yoongi nodded. "Yes, this visit aims to start anew. And I must say, Princess Yama is beautiful."
Hoseok's smile vanished, a storm brewing in his mind. But he kept his composure, his expression neutral.
"Oh, you find her beautiful?" Hoseok asked, his tone masking the turmoil within.
King Yoongi nodded. "Yes, Princess Yama is said to be stunning and intelligent . I've heard tales of her loveliness, but I don't know her personally. We must be cautious, considering our kingdom's past... misunderstandings."
Hoseok's thoughts swirled:
"Does he already have feelings for her?"
But he maintained his calm facade. "I see."
Silence fell between them.
Yoongi suddenly spoke, "Do you like Princess Yama?"
Hoseok raised an eyebrow, feigning indifference. "Who? Princess Yama? No, I don't know her. I've only heard of her."
More silence.
Yoongi's gaze lingered on Hoseok. "Do you like someone?"
Hoseok shifted uncomfortably. "I don't know what you're asking."
Yoongi's eyes narrowed. "You do know. Answer me."
Hoseok's pulse quickened. He hesitated, unsure how to respond, he's voice dropped to a whisper. "Maybe."
Yoongi's eyes sparkled. "Maybe? Who's the lucky person?"
"it's You." His mind shouting out loud but he said, "I don't know her. I saw her at the market, or maybe in the village. She's probably new around here."
Yoongi's curiosity piqued. "Oh? I'll find out who's captured my best friend's heart."
Hoseok's cheeks flushed. "No need, you cat"
Yoongi chuckled. "I'll discover her identity, nonetheless."
As night fell, Yoongi suggested, "Why don't you stay here tonight? You can sleep with me."
Hoseok declined, "Thank you, but I have some leftover work to finish."
Yoongi smiled. "Very well. Be safe, Hoseok."
Hoseok chuckled. "Goodnight, Yoonie.
