It Makes Me Wonder

Nick's POV

I couldn't even focus the rest of the day. I kept worrying about Tasha. I can't believe that happened. It was so weird. Maybe an earthquake? Strange for it to happen in the middle of March though. But, not impossible.

I decided that I would go see her after school. What was her last name? Vanpose? I don't know where the manor is. But, how many manors are there in this dirty town? Surely, not a lot.

The 6th class of the day, Chemistry. The hardest & most annoying class, as well as the smallest. Its like, 8 people I don't really know, Nicole, & I. I regret getting this class w/her.

Since it was a small class, there were plenty of other seats for me to choose from. As I sat down, I realized that she could easily take a seat relatively near me. Hell no. I decided to wait until the very last moment to sit down. I posted myself against the wall.

Nicole walked in & turned as she saw me "what are you doing against the wall?" She asked me. "why do you want to know?" I replied. I don't think she even heard me because as she went to her normal seat, she padded the chair next to her. "Come sit down honey" she said, trying to sound as sweet as possible. I glared at her "Yeah. I'll take a pass on that option." After what she did, there was no way on God's green Earth.

As soon as class ended, I was moving pretty quick to the exit. "Hey bro, you want to chill after school?" Tyler asked me. Any other day, I would've been about it. But, today, there something a little more important to me. "Nah, I'm going to go see about Tasha today" I said, trying contain the smile I wanted to wear on my face. Tyler knew what was up though "You like her man. I knew it! I knew I saw it on your face when she walked through the door" he said (fairly loud). "Alright, you got me okay?" I had a feeling I couldn't hide forever. Tyler is my best friend. "You know if Nicole ever found out she would be crushed" he said. We gave each other the appropriate 'look'. "Well, go forth & have at it" he said, leaving me w/a few pats on the back. "Peace out man".

As I made my way to her house, I randomly got this feeling of nervousness in the pit of my stomach. I was actually going to do this. I heard about her grandfather & right now, I was putting my life in danger...
