★Third Person POV★
"Lilith where are you?" a voice called from upstairs.
After sipping her water, Lilith replied, "Downstairs, why?"
The sound of feet could be heard, as a small herd hurried down the stairs and into the kitchen.
"Lilith, we were going to sing happy birthday and bring breakfast in bed," the blonde haired girl called.
"I distinctively remember saying I wasn't participating in such practices," Damon said as he walked to the fridge.
Lilith smiled, "Sorry Raven, I really needed some water."
Raven pulled out a chair and joined Lilith at the table, "You are always up so early, it is your birthday."
"I couldn't fall back to sleep and before I knew it, it was eight in the morning," Lilith complained though happiness could be seen in her blue eyes.
A present appeared in front of Lilith. It was wrapped in simple brown paper, with a pretty green ribbon decorating it. Lilith looked up and saw Lucifer grinning behind her.
"What's up Satan?" Lilith said.
Lucifer grinned, "Packing for when I return to Hogwarts, how are you Demon?
"Huh!" Damon said as the toast finished toasting.
"I meant Lilith," Lucifer laughed, causing his black hair to get even more untidy.
"Birthday fun!" Lilith replied as she looked into a pair of blue eyes similar to her own.
"Hurry and open the present," Raven fussed, excitement clear in her green eyes.
Damon walked over with buttered toast, "It isn't much, but we hope you like it."
Tearing off the wrapping paper, she slowly opened the box and looked inside. Packed inside was a pair of black ankle boots. Lilith smiled and took the boots out the box to try them on.
"I love them," Lilith said, "thank you."
Raven smiled, "I hope they fit okay."
"Perfectly!" Lilith said.
After breakfast, they spent nearly and hour making a picnic to take to the park. They had done this ever since they became a family. They had all met here at some point. Raven was there first, she had been left there by her older sister and no one went to find her. She was joined by Lucifer the next week. He had run away from home after learning about their evil ways. Damon arrived later that month, but didn't join them immediately. He acted like someone was with him, but they saw no one else. They continued this for years and no one tried to find them. Since no one seemed to know where they were, they never went to school. Before they started going to Hogwarts, they didn't get in trouble as they weren't registered to a school. Now they attend Hogwarts, they had to leave family behind. It was difficult when they left, especially for Lilith. She the youngest and was alone last year as her family attended Hogwarts. Turning eleven meant she wouldn't feel lonely.
The group spent most of the day at the park, only heading home once it started getting dark. Lilith couldn't help feel disappointed, her Hogwarts acceptance letter still hadn't arrived. Perhaps it showed up at the orphanage, after all she didn't tell any one where she was going. After a year living in the house, she was still surprised she hadn't been found yet. It was late at night and everyone was sound asleep in the house. An owl landed outside one of the windows and tapped on the glass. The continuous knocking awoke the person sleeping inside and went up the window. Lilith pushed her long, dark brown hair away from her eyes and looked outside the window. She was surprised to see an owl perched outside, with two letters beside it. Lilith carefully opened the window as the owl picked up the letters. The owl hopped inside through the window and flew over to her bed. Dropping one letter on the bed, the brown owl rested on her bedside table.
