"I"m with Luther." Allison said, as Diego threw his hands up in annoyance.
"Of course you are."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
They were having a family meeting in the living room, this time without Rory.
Luther believed their mother, Grace, to have killed their father, but upon speaking to his siblings, they discovered that she was simply taking his monocle, which Diego then took from her and dumped somewhere.
Then, Viktor brought up the fact that Grace was programmed to help people if their life was in jeopardy, and as their father died she did nothing, which much mean that her programming was damaged or degrading.
Or, Rory had done something to her circuits.
Diego was arguing that they should just speak to Rory and work out what was going on, while Luther was saying they should shut down Grace and ground Rory, before finding some way to get the truth out of her.
"She shouldn't get a vote." Diego interrupted Viktor, as he stuttered over his words.
"I was going to say I agree with you."
"She should get a vote. What about you, Stoner Boy?"
"Oh, so, what? You need my help now?" Klaus was leaning against a pillar nearby, watching them. "Oh, 'get out of the van, Klaus' well, 'welcome back to the van'."
Allison looked at him. "What Van?"
Luther shook his head. "What's it's gonna be, Klaus?"
"I'm with Diego, because screw all of you for how you treat Rory. That kid, as weird as it sounds, loved our shit-stain of a Dad. And if Ben were here, he'd agree with me."
"Not with the Mom stuff." Ben's ghost said, though only Klaus could hear him. "But you're right about Rory."
Luther sighed. "I will need you to speak to her. Whatever happens. She won't listen to the rest of us."
"Because she knows you're all assholes." Klaus said.
Diego grinned. "So, that's Four to three."
"No. Five's not here, the whole family needs to vote." Allison said. "We owe each other that."
Rory had heard everything she needed to a while ago. She heard them all make their way to the living room, and had hidden upstairs, listening. But once Luther accused her of killing their father, she knew she had the leave. Somehow, wherever.
So, she decided to track Five down.
While walking Klaus back to the academy the night before, he'd told her all about his adventures with Five and his eye. Apparently, Five just had an eye from the future, and was looking for it's owner.
She knew his van, and she did some digging and found the closest prosthetic company to where Klaus had been the night before.
So, finding Five's van, she opened the passenger door, making him jump as she climbed into the seat, putting her backpack on the ground in front of her.
"Hi, Five."
He looked at her, and she couldn't tell if his face was furious or confused. Probably both. "You shouldn't be here, I'm busy." He said. But then added "hi, Rory."
"I'm not stopping you from finding eye guy." She put her hands under her legs. "I've had a bad day. Maybe I can help."
He shook his head, looking back at the building. "this isn't work for a kid."
