5.A Night of Passion

After days of avoiding each other, Claire and Daniel finally decided confront their feelings.

"Can we talk ,Claire? " he asked her.

"I also wanted to talk to you" she replied with little hesitation.

She is still fighting with her thoughts of being hurt again. So they decided to meet at Daniel's office after evening.

They meet late one night in Daniel's office after a tense faculty meeting, and the conversation quickly becomes heated.

Claire admits she's scared-scared of being hurt again, scared of opening up to someone who might leave her.

"Are you okey?" He asked after seeing her hesitation.
"Ye-yeh..I-I am fiine". She said shuttering badly.

He understands that she's still thinking that he will hurt her.but he is frustrated by her mixed signals.

"Hey ..look at me " he said .

But she was still hanging her head down. So he lift her chin by cupping her cheek. She looked at him. Tears forming in her eyes.

"Don't cry.it breaks my heart ".He gently wiped them with hands.

They both stayed there looking into each other's eyes like they are talking with their eyes.

"You won't leave me right? " she aksed him.

"You know what, even the thought of leaving you will hurt me like hell ! " he said planting a kiss on her forehead.

"I am not like the bastard who left you .I promise, you will never regret giving me a chance to love you. " he said without breaking the eye contact.

She smiled after hearing him.
They hugged each other like their life depend on it.

The tension between them breaks, and they fall into each other's arms.

The night is filled with passion, their connection deepening physically in a way neither of them anticipated.

But beneath the surface, both of them know that this moment of closeness could either heal them or complicate things even more!
