Serenity

I have been living in the hotel now for the past 5 month and life seems to just be passing by I have only seen Nero once which was just an awkward elevator ride when we were caught in it at the same time.

"Ren love are we gonna go soon I have been waiting for ages!"

Faith roles of the bed dramatically like the wait is killing her but you know I like to drag things out

"Faith babe you are going to have to wait if you want to go dress shopping with me for this shin dig that Nero is making us go to in a couple months until I finish this chapter you know how I don't like to leave them just go on your phone or something"

Faith looks at me unimpressed with what I have to say "can I have the number to get some food up here then if I have to wait for your slow ass"

"NO! we are not taking advantage of Nero's hospitality I have to two pages left I am sure you can wait until then, at that point we will go to my table at the restaurant as it appears it appears Nero has saved me a table!"

it takes all of 2 minutes to finish my chapter then I get up and put funky leggings and one of Nero's jumpers that he seems to be dropping at my door every other Monday they all smell like him as well it is the only sigh that he is actually here in the building. 

"right then Faith now you move your lazy butt and get your shoes on" I pair my outfit with white sketchers that say "love" in rainbow on the side. we hush each other out of the door and make our way down to the restaurant when the elevator opens I am hit with the smell of Nero engulfed by him more then I am with just his jumper

"Miss Willow" he looks me up and down and speaks with a growl not taking his eyes of me he addresses Faith and then we all get into the elevator with me in between Faith and Nero.

"how had business been Mr Halo?"

"it has been okay thank you how has college been for you two"

"good" we both say in unison then the space delves into a void again 

"what is you plan for the afternoon"

"we are going to the restaurant then we are of dress shopping to get a dress for the prize giving thing" I say to Nero has Faith looks at me through the corner of her eye.

"can I make a suggestion" Nero's voice is getting closer to my ear I stay still not saying anything 

"answer me Little Wolf "

"No I won't answer you"

"then I will tell you anyway, the theme of the party will be a deep blue and black but as you may have noticed the invitations have been pale pink and white so now you can fit the true theme of the evening and everyone else wont" his breath licks at the back of my neck before the elevator stops and he leaves in a cloud of spicy sin.

"what was that about and why did he call you little wolf?!" Faith whisper shouts at me as we make our way to the front of the restaurant.

"nothing and I don't know why he calls me that I would have to ask him at some point"

"we are gonna talk about this while we eat"

Faith stays true to her word and interrogates me though all of dinner for an hour I here her drone on about the way he looks at me the way he tells me something so I can stand out from everyone else and the way he has given me so much that I can not believe a life a way to live without him.

"right now we have talked about this through dinner we can stop here and go but dresses now we know the true theme of the party"

"you can buy a dress to fit that but I won't be"

"why?"

"so you can stand out the most, you can male a presence when you hopefully win"

"yeah but you could also fit into the theme you know we can both stand out"

"I will choose one that links to it but not directly there"

"okay let's go babe we have money to spend"

with that we were out the door and on our way to but dresses when we got into my car Faith connected her phone "what do you want to listen to" I shrug and let her choose the music which  she turns onto full volume and echoes throughout the car we end up singing along to all the lyrics of Kezia Gill's album "Misfit"

Faith is on her third dress of the store but I have yet been able to find one that I like.

Faith is looking at her deep pink floor length gown that hugs her bodice and flows at the waist. the dress has a split going all the way up her thigh and from the split there is a light blue sparkle that bleeds from it and to the length of the train. "you look gorgeous girl"  Faith smiles and then spins around around allowing her dress to flutter "wait you have to see something else" she runs of then comes back with baggy sleeves that are elegant and flow around her arms. I am gobsmacked. "now we have to get you a dress lets get one come one" she drags me up from my chair as I sulk "no I do not want to" 

"yes you will" she puts me into the changing room and the runs back to me with a black dress so deep in lack of colour that it almost looks like a black whole. "put this on then come out" she closes the curtain and struts back to the chair I was just in. 

I now look at myself in the mirror in this dress I can not believe what I am looking at right now, I have not even dared to look at the price. the dress is pure black, the back is cut out with midnight sheer blue lace in the shape of a flower in the lace. the front is so low cut I have to rely on the padding of the dress for support as the bra is too visible no matter the style there is not even any tool my chest is bare, the V of the dress cuts to my waist. the skirt flows and there is a slit on my right leg that makes my hip bone visible. the sleeves on the dress are black, they flow from my shoulders and are cut at the elbow as they are so long that they would cover my hands other wise and there is a concertation of sapphire jewels and the slit of the sleeve and the on on my legs, the dress is also so long that I would have to where stupidly high heels to be able to walk in them. It.... It is unbelievable. I would love to where anything close to this. however this has to be really expensive and I can not concisely where it. 

"come one girl it does not take that long to get in a dress"

at the sound of Faith's voice I leave the room and listen to her gasp as she takes in my outfit 

"I knew this dress was pretty but the way you where it, girl Mr Halo is not going to take his eyes of you of of anyone in the room to make sure she does not get the wrong look from someone." she whistles and looks me up and down 

"I do not think he would do that" 

she laughs at me "little wolf" she mocks Nero's deep voice "come on you have to have seen the way he was looking at you in the elevator earlier. you have to see what he did was a bit suspicious right"

I role my eyes at her dramatics "there is nothing happening with us" 

"okay" she over exaggerates her words "we can talk about this later lets go get dressed get the dresses and then we can go back to yours and binge watch something with you with ben and jerries" 

"fine but I am not getting this dress"

"why, you would be stupid not to"

"the price and I don't think this is a good thing to like bate Nero he could do something stupid" 

"you are going to get it or I will take your phone and call Nero to come here and get it for you so which is it going to be"

"fine" I speak with a huff "I will get the dress but you will never threaten me with Nero again"

she just chuckles and goes to get changed.
