NEW DAY CH.8

I wake up the next morning to see him standing next to me. I was too sleepy to react.

'Good morning, star, get up you need to go to school'  He uttered with a smile plastered on his face

"Give me 5 minutes more..."
Did he just called me star? Meh.

'Get up or I will make you wake up'

Even though he said it calmly it sounded like a threat, I do not want to find out so I get up still sleepy.

'Now go and get ready sleepyhead or you are going to late to school' 

10 mins later 

I look in the mirror I still had tears from yesterday, they are dried up I don't think on the matter no more and start to go forward to the kitchen 

"I'm ready, I'm going to go prepare my food"

'I have done that already' 

"Ah okay... Wait what?" I asked with a perplexed face

"You can cook!?"

I feel like I made it sound rude, I didn't mean it

'Yup, go and eat the food is in the parlour' 

I quickly launched my self sprinting to the sitting room and saw the food. Pancakes, that's unusual knowing that having pancakes are scarce for me, i haven't ate a piece from it and I'm already drooling. I don't wait any longer and begin devouring the food prepared on the table.

'I see you are enjoying the food' 

I quickly nod as a confirmation 

"These are some good pancakes!" Before I knew it I am done with the food I look down and see nothing on the plate.

"Thank you for the meal, I appreciate it!"

Connor looks at me with a smile on his face

'No problem, now we need to go, take your backpack we are going to school' 

I put on the schoolbag on both of my shoulders but then a question arose in my mind .

"Wait, we?" 

He didn't bother to answer and just took my hand and drag me outside were we from there walked to school.

"You are actually going to follow me, yay!, I can finally walk to school with someone beside me!"

'Also If I didn't misheard that you called me star this morning- Not that I have anything wrong with it tho'

'From now on I'm calling you star because your the light shining everyone's path so why not?, it represents you. '

'Oki, that's cool!'

'This is my school right there!'
I don't wait for him to say one word and I enter the school immediately with a smile on my face.

But then my smiles fades as I see Drake and his companions coming forwards. I want to leave but one of them notice me and shouts my name.

'Hey, Mark!'

Connor and I look at eachother with a 'something is going to happen look'

I look at my front to see them being infornt of me

'Ah there you are, I have been trying to find where you were' Drake says with a fake smile on his face

'Anyways you already know why I am here where is the project I asked you to do? It's for today...' His smile turns into one of seriousness
