After the wedding, there was a beautiful post-wedding ceremony. (Burrito tried sparkling grape juice for the first time...he hated it.)
Then, over dinner, Gabriel had an announcement. He said he had an extra special present for the newlyweds. He proudly gave it to Grover, saying, "Here you go buddy." It was 2 months pay for a house. The restaurant erupted in cheers, and Grover hugged my best friend. All I had was a card for the couple and $50 (cheap I know, but we were struggling), but they accepted the gift. I sadly said, "These gifts are not much, but..." "Not much?" Celeste said. "Nonsense! You gave what you had. And it was sweet of you. Thank you!" And she kissed my forehead. I did a silly reaction and the audience laughed.
After that, the Sailor Squad performed a lot of songs. Then, Grover and Celeste danced their first slow dance as a couple. The song they danced to was "Homecoming" by Tom T. Hall (the same song that they danced to during Celeste's graduation party).
Over dessert, the couple cut the cake (which was vanilla with berries. Sooooo good!), and Celeste's bouquet was tossed. Bluebear caught it, meaning she would get married next.
Their honeymoon was where Nintendo originated in Japan (I don't know where, but I don't feel like looking it up). Good thing Grover took Japanese lessons!
