""It had been four long years underground now.

Luckily, I have my friends.

Now, what had exactly happened? Well, the overworld was now a lost hope. Gone. Earthquakes hit the surface's edge, but nowhere else. Waters flooded, wiping out crops and key items to survival. It was living *heck* up there. So we had to move underground.

This is the story of my life, underground.

One- The Ancient Cities & The Deep Dark""

"Y/N!" Andrew called to me from my door.

"Yeah?" I dropped my quill and ran over, opening the door. My Netherite boots thumped on the carpet.

"Henry found a fragment of a disc of some sort while we rummaged through some of our old hauls." Andrew stated, handing me a small shard.

"Wow," I observed, fingering the fragment and feeling through the grooves. "This is still pretty strong. Maybe if I could find other fragments.."

"We can go check, if you want. Just meet at my place, yeah?"

"Sure! I'm gonna finish writing and I'll head by."

"Oh yeah, you're writing your book."

"I still have a *fragment* of hope for the world." I chuckle, turning around to continue writing. "I'll see ya!"

""One- The Ancient Cities & The Deep Dark

Ancient Cities are the foundations me and my crew built upon. They were left in ruins. Ancient sure fits in the name. Cities like these held all sorts of mysteries. One of those being Redstone. Over generations, human kind has learned Redstone by themselves. These cities, however, displayed all sorts of examples. It reminds me of the Jungle Temples, with all sorts of traps. The cities, contrast to the Redstone traps, had some sort of teaching implied in the displays. On top of that, the 'Redstone Room' is underneath a huge monument. This monument resembles a mythical beast known as the Warden. This beast, however, ceases to exist as of when me and my friends first entered. I will more further explain in its own chapter. I suspect, however, that the Warden and the beings who lived down here before us were working together with a pact. Now, of course, there's also the possibility that the monument was a portal. It holds the very shape of one, and natural fire surrounds it. How it is activated, we know not.
