Eren's Pov

Eren woke up to the sound of his alarm clock cutting through the silence of the room. He stretched, still fighting off the remnants of sleep. Looking at the clock on the wall, he realized he had enough time for a good breakfast before facing the busy day that awaited him.

As he walked down the stairs, he smelled the aroma of fresh coffee filling the air. Maria, the maid who had become almost part of the family, was already in the kitchen, preparing everything with care.

“Good morning, Mr. Yeager!” Maria greeted with a warm smile. “The coffee is almost ready and I made your favorite toast.”

“Good morning, Maria! You always know how to make me happy first thing in the morning,” Eren replied, sitting down at the table. He watched as she placed a steaming cup in front of him.

The coffee was perfect, and the crispy toast was accompanied by a generous layer of butter. As he savored the meal, Eren thought about the interviews he would have later. The company was expanding and he needed to find new talent to strengthen the team.

“Is everything ready for today?” Maria asked as she cleaned the table.

“Yeah, I’m a little nervous, but excited at the same time. We need to find someone really good,” Eren said, looking at her gratefully. “Thank you for always taking care of me.”

“It’s a pleasure! You’ll do great. And don’t forget to take a deep breath before you enter the room!” she joked, making him laugh.

After a refreshing breakfast, Eren put on his suit and got ready to leave. He took one last look in the mirror, adjusted his tie, and headed out to the office. Traffic was light, and he arrived at the company quickly.

As soon as he entered the modern building where his startup was located, he was greeted by an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation. His partner, Levi, was already waiting for him in the meeting room.

“Hey, Eren! Ready for today?” Levi asked with a confident smile.

“Yeah! I hope we find some good options,” Eren replied as he settled into his desk.

The two reviewed the list of candidates who would be interviewed that day. Each had unique skills that could add to the team.

“Let’s make sure we ask the right questions and understand who really fits our culture,” Levi suggested.

“I agree! We need someone who not only has the technical skills, but also shares our values and vision,” Eren stated.

With the final details ironed out, the two prepared to receive the first candidates. The room was tidy, with water and pens available. There was a slight tension in the air; both were excited about the prospect of bringing new talent to the team.

As the hours passed and candidates joined one by one, Eren began to feel more relaxed. Conversations flowed naturally, and he was impressed with some of the interviewees.

“I’m starting to feel optimistic about this,” Levi commented after one of the more promising interviews.

Eren nodded in agreement. The day was far from over, but he felt they were on the right track to finding the new team members.

“Next is S/N L/N sir,” the secretary said and left the application form.

Eren’s heart raced at the same time, his name was a very common name, but that surname was unique. Eren was paralyzed for a minute, but was soon taken out of his trance by the unexpected ringing of his cell phone that started to ring. It was his father.
