Chapter 1: A Princess at a Reform School?

I hate it. I absolutely hate it. The way they twirl their hair, bite their lip, put their hands on his arm, makes me want to puke. Jax is flashing a charming smile and acting completely oblivious to the fact of them flirting with him. His eyes connect with mine. I look down fast and pretend to be busy reading. I hear him before I see him. "Hey Thief." I look and see his violet eyes sparkle playfully, the sun shining on his face, his charming smile, and- God Gilly! Stop. "H-Hey." I stutter. He raises an eyebrow. "You seem off. Everything okay?" I can lie to everyone expect for Jax. "Of course I am. Just reading." He studies my face but doesn't say anything.

"Can you guys even stay away from each other for, I don't know.....two minutes?" I turn around and see the Evil Queen's sister, Jocelyn with her black dress and black cape with stars and moons blowing slightly in the wind. I roll my eyes. "Yes." "Honestly I'm not so sure about that." My friend Kayla laughs. I scowl as Jax chuckles. "Gilly can't get enough of me." Jax says jokingly. My face grows hot. "Well maybe it's the opposite." I sniff. Jax's roomate, Ollie comes over and laughs. "I think it goes for the both of them." This time it was Jax's turn to go beat red. "Oh, by the way did you hear that there is a royal coming here?" My ogre friend, Maxine tells us. "A royal? To a reform school?" I snort. "Why?" Maxine shrugs. "Probably because she wants to get away from royal duties. It makes sense. It would be so hard to be a princess." Jocelyn rolls her eyes. "You mean it would be so hard having everything handed to you with a gold spoon?" I snicker. "Actually think it's said with a silver spoon, but okay." Ollie points out. "Whatever. Same thing."

All the sudden a blue and gold carriage stops in front of the school gates. I hear excited whispers all around me. A royal guard steps out of the front of the carriage and goes over to the back door of the carriage.

"Presenting Miss Elliana of the Anquanta Kingdom." He opens the door and a beautiful girl with long blonde hair and blue green eyes.

"Ellie?" Jax breathes.
