Chapter 2

Belle arrived at work the next morning with five minutes to spare. She quickly put her bag away and put her apron on.

"Welcome to Whisker World! What can I get you?"

"Three wonderful Meow Muffin."

Belle grab a small box from the pile and put two muffins in it.

"$6.75."

The lady paid and left. Belle move onto more customers until she was able to sit.

"Take a break Belle," her boss Betsy said. Belle was more than happy to take a break. She step over cats and went to the back. She get her purse and went out.

She always take her lunch break at a dinner not far from the cafe. They have the best curly fries and milkshake.

"Belle!"

Belle stop and turn around. "Ann-Marie!"

Belle run and jump on her big sister.

"You're back!"

"Of course I'm back silly. I wouldn't stay away forever."

Ann-Marie set get down. "When did you return?"

"Today. I'm sorry Belle. I should have return earlier but I was a coward."

"It's OK." Belle was too happy to see her sister to care. "I'm just glad you are back."

"Where are you off to?"

"Lunch."

"Then I'll join you."

Belle was over the moon.

They got to the diner and place their order before taking a window seat.

"So I thought you were getting married. Saw it on your social media."

"He cheated so we are done."

"I'm sorry."

"It's OK. Nothing last forever."

Their food come and they ate abs catch up. Belle hasn't seen Ann-Marie in three year so they have alot to catch up on.

"Is that Cassius Blackwood?"

Belle look at her sister confused before looking out the window. Her face lit up when she recognised her potentially new friend from last night. Though she do not know his name.

"You know him?"Belle asked.

"Everyone know him. He's the most dangerous man in the world right now."

Belle look at her sister. She's surprised by this news.

"Tell me more about him."

"First of all, do not ever touch Cassius Blackwood. One brush and you will be dead."

"Really?"

"He's Cassius Blackwood. Second of all, do not ever cross him."

Belle was still on that first sentence. She touch his hand last night and she's still alive.

Belle look outside just in time to make eye contact with Cassius. He do a calling motion with his finger.

Belle look around confused. She point to hers and Cassius nod.

After what Ann told her, she's scared ro face gin.

"I'll be right back."

Her sister hear nothing as she was making  googly eyes at Cassius. Belle got up and walk out of the diner.

She cross the to where the black cars are parked.

"Hi."

Cassius pick her up and put her on the hood of his sports car.

"Woah! I'm heavy!"

He peel off his gloves and squeeze her thighs. What a day to wear skirt.

Belle blush.

He lean closer to her so no one can hear what he say. "Did you find out my name?"

Belle nod quickly. "Cassius."

"Good girl. Who is that?"

Belle look over his shoulder at her sister who look as white as a ghost.

"My sister. I have to get back to work.

"Do not walk home Story-Belle."

"I'll be ok."

He grip her chin in his big hands, his eyes darkening despite the sun shining brightly.

"Do not walk home."

"OK fine."

Cassius lift her off the car and set her on the ground. "Bye!"

She ran back to the diner to face her sister and her sister's questions.
