500 AP (After Percy)

The sun had nearly set over Camp Halfblood, leaving the sky to turn a beautiful watercolour painting of pinks, purples and oranges. The campers sat around the fire, their last song, sung by the Apollo cabin, died on their lips. It was only the beginning of the night and the young ones were restless.

They wanted a story.

"Oh, please, Chiron!" A young daughter of Demeter begged him. "Please can you tell us the story of Percy Jackson?"

"Yeah. Tell us how he fell in love with the sun" A son of Aphrodite sighed dreamily.

"No! Tell us how defeated all his enemies!" A child of Ares called out, sounding much like a battle cry.

"And his journey of being a Chosen One" A quieter voice then said. Everyone went quiet and looked at the girl who spoke. She shyed away when all the attention went to her, hiding behind her black and gold hair. Her sea green eyes looked into Chiron's and a flood of memories of those eyes from centuries ago hit him.

The girl was Celestia Jackson, Poseidon's Chosen One. His first Chosen One since her ancestor, Perseus Jackson.

Chiron smiled softly at her before addressing the whole of the campers.

"Alright. I will tell you the tale of Percy Jackson. A story of friendship, acceptance, challenge, war and love" He told them, pulling a book seemingly out of nowhere. It was bound in blue leather and in silver lettering, it read:

Percy Jackson
And The
Lightning Thief

The centaur opened the book and flipped through the first few pages to get to chapter one. Those closest could smell the pages of the old book. Chiron cleared his throat and began to read.

"I Accidentally Vaporize My Pre-Algebra Teacher"
