DIpper always told Mabel that they wold never end up like how their Grunkles ended up. That they would never drift apart and loose each other. That they wouldn't spend years without each others presence. That they wouldn't willingly give each other up.
Dipper Lied.
He lied to her, he gave her up for knowledge. Now Mabel is on her own and trying to survive being a captive to the one and only dream demon, Bill Cypher.

He hurt her, abandoned her, traded her for knowledge. Why would he do this? How could he do do this to her! After all the sweaters she made for him! After all the crazy situation she got him out of! She forgave him for missing out on their birthday celebrations, on holidays, even Waddles funeral.
