" You aren't dumb, Tia. You're just too lazy to be bothered by studies. You don't need to degrade yourself over some petty marks.

By the way, that red kurta looks nice on you. You look beautiful."

A new note. Again. I read the note over and over again. It filled my mind with fury.

I just got my physics paper. I got 6 marks out of 25. But this note was here way before I got the paper. That means they knew my marks before I got to know them.

"Yes, Nana. What happened? I was waiting for you. Let's go."

"Wait, Tia. Umm... You okay?", she said worriedly.

Fake. It's all fake. This worry and everything. Nana doesn't really like me.

"Yeah. Why?", I asked.

"It's um... You really had a weird look in your eyes." She said nervously.

"Well, what type of weird?"

"No that's--. Ahem. It's nothing. Maybe I was just imagining things. Let's go."

"Sure. Wait. Is Priya not coming?"

"Nope. She said she'd attend the next lecture."

".... Okay. let's go."
