the classroom
with her usual
black
midi skirt
and a sweater.today, her choice
of
a sweatshirt
was a
fluffy baby pink one.i like her
sweaters the
most out
of her
typical dressing options.since the age of 10,
i've discovered
i'm
extremely
observant.if vera ever
changed her
tone of
speaking,
i wouldn't
ever try to
miss it.speaking of which,
no one is
really
that
observant to
my actions.no one listens
or thinks about
the way i stare down
at my paper.no one cares about
how i lean against
the wall
in the bathrooms
with tears streaming
down
my puffy
cheeks.i think mrs. whitlock
is one of the best
teachers in my grade.i prefer her classes
over any
anyday.my hands peeled
open my book.call me a bookworm,
but i enjoy
reading at an
unhealthy rate.in my free time, i read.
in class, i read.
in my room,
i read.i've always learned
to love
books.my favorite types
of books are
those
slowburns.you can visualize
what's
the
character's
viewpoint deeply.especially with
the author's
exceedingly
long
descriptions.my eyeballs fixated
on the page,
reading
all the
different kinds
of amazing words.this story appeared
hugely
interesting
to me.i related it to some
kind of way.the main
character is
alone,
no one wants to befriend
her at all.kind of like me,
no one
really cares about
what i do as i
just explained.that's right, no one.
no
one.
