Hello, everyone! I'm so excited to share my first book on Wattpad with you. This is the first book in a series, and each book will feature a different couple. I hope you'll enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

She felt cold all over BUT it was a hot summer Saturday morning...

It was a short down walk to the podium, not more than twelve to fifteen short steps, but Samantha Jones was dreading every single minute of it. The live band playing Bridal Chorus by Richard Wagner at the left side of the small stage for the bridal entrance sounded more like a bomb countdown to her ears.

Soon, she would start walking closer to her fate, closer to the stage, and her feet burned as if she were standing on hot coal. Her legs wobbled, but she held herself with elegance. It wasn't the fault of her four-inch silver Louis Vuitton heel, but rather the consequence of her decisions weighing down on her.

Her thoughts and emotions weighed down on her like a mantle- she was about to get married to a stranger!

The beautiful outdoor decor helped distract her a little. It was a cool Saturday afternoon at the outdoor space of the Avalon Hotel. Guests were seated on both opposite sides of the long white material laid on the floor in front of her. Sam glanced around, searching but in the end, she couldn't recognize anyone because they weren't her guests. To her right were the Rice's family guests, and to her left were her father's guests.

The two families had gone out of their way to make this picture perfect. The theme -green, white and gold. Everything was a combination of the three colors, from the flowers to the drapes hanging from the makeshift wooden ceiling to the materials covering the chairs and tablecloth. The skillful color combination was surreal and enchanting. It made everything less gloomy than it actually was.

Behind her, she could hear the continuous flashes of cameras. Every magazine, fashion house, and news channel was here for a scoop. The guests all looked happy and why wouldn't they? This was the wedding of the year. The wedding planner, Jesse, a thirty-something, eccentric, energetic man with a weird sense of style had told Sam earlier to wait for a few seconds before continuing down the aisle. He wanted the camera to capture the captivating essence of her gown.

"Wow! Exciting." Sam had smiled forcefully at Jesse earlier when he made the suggestion. If he noticed her discomfort, he kept it to himself.

Sam had no problem waiting for a few seconds. If she could help it, she would wait for all of eternity. The live band at the end of the aisle, opposite the officiator slowed down the music for dramatic effect, and this was her cue to start walking down the aisle. Here comes the bride, the violin and piano played. The song was solemn and gentle yet, it sounded like an approaching danger soundtrack from a movie to her ears.

Move...Move Goddammit!

Sam begged her legs, mentally repeating the words over and over in her head but her legs were glued to the ground and wouldn't budge. Maybe because her legs knew if she moved, it would be to a point of no return. So, it was trying to save her from herself.

Sam felt Jesse before she saw him. Her eyes turned to the left where she saw him waving his hand frantically, gesturing for her to move. He looked terrified. Sam almost laughed why was he scared? It wasn't his life that was on the line! It was her life!

She smacked her lips and sighed. Jesse would likely get a bad reputation if she screwed up her wedding. That would be bad for business. Everyone in LA would know that he was the wedding planner during "The Rice and Jones wedding disaster" If she screwed up.
