The next morning, Rain found himself curled up close to Payu, almost pressed against his chest. He blinked slowly, taking in the unfamiliar warmth and scent around him. It took a moment for him to realize o his embarrassment, that he was wearing nothing but Payu's oversized T-shirt and his own undergarments. A dull ache in his head reminded him of the hangover from last night, and with it came the embarrassment of his confession.
He glanced up at Payu's sleeping face and sighed. Why am I like this? He groaned inwardly. Trying to save face, he attempted to move away quietly, but each time he tried, Payu would pull him closer. Rain attempted to shift away quietly, desperate to save his pride, but each time he moved, Payu's arm tightened around him, pulling him back effortlessly. "Ugh, what's with this guy's strength?" Rain muttered under his breath, giving up on his futile escape. He finally resigned himself to watching his "handsome hubby" sleep. His eyes traced Payu's relaxed features—the sharp jawline, the faint stubble, and the peaceful expression that seemed so unlike the playful man he usually knew.
If he wakes up, Rain thought, I'll just pretend I'm asleep.
Payu: "Don't stare at me like you're going to eat me up, sweetheart."
The term of endearment sent butterflies fluttering wildly in Rain's stomach. Payu pulled Rain closer, slipping his arms under him, and planted a few teasing kisses.
Payu: "Here I am, lovesick for you, and you keep pushing me away."
Rain: "Me? Really? I've been in love with you since high school, following you around like a lost puppy. And this is what I get to hear?"
Payu: "That doesn't count. I love you more."
Payu smirked and tried to pull Rain by the waist for another kiss, but Rain shyly turned his face away.
Rain: "P'Payu, I didn't brush yet."
Payu: "Baby, you broke the last string of my restraint yesterday. You can't stop me now."
Rain: "oh really when did that happen if I'm not wrong you pushed me away till yesterday.(Rain pouts cutely) P'Payu, do you really like Rain? Do you think Rain deserves to be by your side?"
Payu sat up suddenly, causing Rain's heart to sink.
Payu: "Do I like Rain? Hmm... no, I don't think I like Rain."
Rain's eyes filled with hurt, but before he could react, Payu smirked mischievously, grabbed him, and pulled him on top of himself.
Payu: "I love Rain. I adore him. I lust after my wifey. I'm absolutely smitten and in love with Rain in every way possible."
Embarrassed and flustered, Rain grabbed a pillow and smacked Payu with it.
Payu: "Oh no! I confess my love, and all I get is this?"
Rain: "P'Payu, you're so mean!"
Payu: "Aww, my wife is upset. Let me make it up to you then."
He leaned in for another kiss, but Rain placed his hands over Payu's mouth.
Rain: "There's a difference between making up and making out, my dear hubby."
Payu: "Oh really? Then let's do both, and you can help me figure out the difference. Let's start with making out, okay?"
Rain: "P'Payu, how did you become so pervy overnight?"
