I:Disturbing Past and encounter with hope

"Ling, don't go there". Mr. Kwong warned her daughter which was hardly 9 years old. "Why papa?" she asks. "ling , we are special people while those people they want to hurt us. You should never go close to them. Let's go to your mother she might be waiting for us".

Ling and her father went back to the hut which her father has built in the center of the jungle so that his family may remain safe. ling was a werewolf and so was her family. Every full moon night she and her family may transformed in to dangerous creatures, wolves. She had been bearing this curse since her birth.

Her father was very considerate about safety of his family .One night as they were busy with their life a group of hunters attacked them. her father sensing the danger forehead ordered her to hide behind a tree far away from her hut. They killed her father and mother . Ling was safe as she hid herself behind the tall tree as her father had instructed. When she came back she saw her father and mother bathed in blood and they were on their last breathes. They asked ling to go to her aunt that lived at the other side of jungle closer to city ."Ling my child, you have to go these hunters will come back in search of you . you are very special .Run and reach the house of your aunt she will take care of you from now on and please forgive me as i was not enough for your safety." saying this her father died and Ling was devastated she cried harder and harder until she passed out. In her dream she saw a beautiful girl asking her to be strong and promising to meet her one day. This dream comforted her .She woke up pay her last tributes to the dead bodies of her father and mother and took some of her things . She also took the locket from her father's neck as the last thing which may remind her of her parents.

She ran as fast as she can. Her superspeed helped her to reach the other corner of jungle within an hour. She hesitated to knock first, then gathered all her courage and knocked at the door. Her cousin Engfa opened the door . As she saw her cousin , ling started to cry once again . Engfa hugged her and brought her to her mother ,Ms.koy . She asked what happened as she heard about the death of her sister and brother-in-law she was also devastated and comforted Ling.

She then called all her family to give her sister and brother-in-law a proper burial according to werewolf traditions. During funeral every one was devastated as ling's father was their alpha, a king of werewolf community. He and his wife were given royal burial. Their graves were hidden so no one can find them.

Ling was so devastated she swore to find the murderers of her family .But she was a small kid back then what had she done on her own . Her aunt decided to take care of her . Engfa had been going to school since childhood under disguise so her aunt decided to send Ling also . So that the children can live in human community and continue a normal life . For Ling this was anew experience but she adjusted herself as she had been an intelligent child .

Being royal she had many powers which ordinary werewolves lack. She not only had superspeed and super strength but she can also sense the emotions of others and can read their minds . She can also control all other wolves. But there were also hidden qualities which she also didn't know nor her parents had known because there was a secret only her mother had known but she didn't knew the consequences.

Now she was living her life as a normal human kid except at full moon nights when she and all the were wolf community had to experience a pain .A pain which was also a curse and also a blessing for them . They had to endure extreme pain to convert themselves into werewolves.

Throughout her childhood she had been treated very well by her aunt .Engfa was like her sister . Both cousins would play in jungle after school . They also had a friend from school Freen Sarocha . Freen was also a wolf but from other community of wolves. She was also a royal of her community. They remained best friends through out their school life.

Engfa was the naughty one ,while Ling was a serious child . So her mother would her examples of Ling to teach her lesson. "I think Ling is your blood child maybe I am the adopted one."

Ms.Koy will laugh and say," you both are my own blood silly ". Freen will always laugh at their family drama. One day as they were going to home from school ,they heard the soft cries of a girl . They both having super hearing ran towards the noise. As the reached they saw a beautiful girl crying near the entrance of forest. Ling came forward and asked what happened. The girl lifted her head. She was a absolute beauty . For a second ling froze she could not hear or see any other thing apart from girl. Seeing her cousin in stance, Engfa pinched her . Ling came into her senses. She cleared her throat and asked, 'What is your name and why are you crying hear in jungle ." The girl spoke ," My name is Orm . I was running after a butterfly and I think I strained my ankle it is hurting." Lingling decided to carry this girl towards her home so she asked girl to allow her to carry her . Orm first denied but then Engfa scared her telling of some non existent lions roaming in jungle. Orm was scared easily .Engfa laughed at her silliness because every one knew there is no lion in this jungle. lingling offered once more this time Orm allowed her. Lingling bent down and carry her in bridal style towards the address she told. Lingling can sense her thoughts orm was amazed by her strength and beauty she chuckled at the romantic thoughts Orm was having. Once reaching her house Orm bid them farewell. Engfa being naughty asked," Is saying goodbye is your way of saying thankyou . you can offer us soda or something ." ling glared at her with anger. Orm feeling embarrassed asked her to come inside .

Once entered lingling followed Orm around the house . Orm asked them to sit in the lounge while she prepares something for them. "Now we are going to be late just because of you" Ling scolded Engfa . "Huh! I thought you were enjoying staying close to her so I throwed this tantrum." Engfa replied. "Next ask me before calculating things in your mind ." ling said with her death stare ." Okay boss why are you angry just enjoy time with this beauty." she winked. Engfa was scanning room with her eyes .Just then she heard footsteps arriving , it was mother of Orm . Ling and Engfa greeted her and explained situation . She thanked them and offered them to stay for dinner . Engfa was excited at hearing free food but Ling's death stare was enough to bring her in senses.

Orm brought juice for them . They drank and were about to leave when Orm called Ling. She asked for her phone number. It was clear that Orm was crushing at Ling but Ling was untouchable whole school was admirer of her beauty but she didn't give anyone the chance.First she hesitated then she gave her number .Engfa was laughing at the blushing face of Orm while Ling maintained a cold expression . Then they left.Reaching home they explained aunt koy why they were late today from school.

At dinner Engfa explained aunt koy how Lingling carried Orm in romantic style towards her house and how Orm was crushing at Ling. Ling was embarrassed but Engfa was clearly enjoying seeing her like this.Aunt koy laughed and praised Ling for helping girl ."Hey! I was also there ma why are you only praising her besides no need to praise may be that girl is planning to be my sister-in law." Hearing this Ling choked on food her face becoming crimson red .Koy clearly enjoying started laughing. "There is nothing like that ma she is only exaggerating .Why are you even believing her. Hey Engfa stop laughing it is embarrassing. " She ran towards her room . leaving Koy and Engfa laughing loudly at the table. Engfa always teased her like this because she knew how shy was Lingling.
