Next day at school teacher announced that they had a new comer who has recently transferred to their school. As teacher announced Ling was surprised to see that it was no other than Orm ,the girl she had helped the day before. Orm seeing Ling started waving her hand . "So you know Ling . She is our brilliant student .Why don't you sit with her." Engfa who was sitting at the other corner of bench poked her with elbow teasing Ling .Orm excitedly sat beside Ling . Just then freen entered the class .She was late today seeing new girl was sitting beside Ling she pouted . Engfa was also sad now their trio was incomplete . With a sad face ,Freen sat behind them . She had a secret crush on Ling since childhood now that they had reached high school still she had no courage to say her feelings . She can only see Ling from far away and satisfy the thirsty eyes.Ling helped Orm about the lesson teacher was going to start next . Engfa texted Freen about situation Freen was now very jealous but she can not do anything about it so she just sighed .

During lunch time , the trio was sitting at a table talking about themselves when new girl approached them .Freen clearly disliking the idea of Orm sitting beside ling frowned . "I see you are not comfortable by my presence may be i should go from there and sat alone at the first day of my school." Orm pouted . "No ,No we are quite comfortable join us ." Engfa stopped her from going ling still carrying her cold gaze .She can sense how Orm was making plans in her mind to start her friendship with Ling . Freen being royal can also sense this . She scoffed at her thoughts . "So tell us about yourself orm " Engfa said breaking the ice ."I am new in this neighbor hood not very new as I was born here but then after a tragic accident in which my father died ,we left this city Now we are back as we have some family business incomplete . I also have a cousin who will be joining me to school from tomorrow Her name is Becky . "" Is she beautiful ?" Engfa being Engfa couldn't help but ask ." yeah , she is .You can see by yourself tomorrow." Then they finished their lunch in silence .

"Ling, so are we going to play tennis tomorrow or not?" Freen asked during their way back home. "Yeah! this is our final match how can we miss it ."Ling answered.Freen was happy as she was going to explain her feelings tomorrow to ling.

After as ling was sitting outside her house she received a message from Orm .

"Goodnight Lingling Have sweet dreams...😊😊"

She couldn't help but smile .

Next day at school they met becky.She was beautiful. more like gorgeous.

Engfa was clearly flirting with her the whole day.But becky was more interested in freen .So to continue her flirting and seeking for a chance Engfa invited both Becky and Orm to join them at their tennis match . Freen clearly disliked the idea but Ling had no problem since she also was interested in Orm but didn't know how to express her .

During tennis match Orm was clearly impressed by the shots of ling . Ling jumped in the air like it was nothing . Orm was clearly crushing at her anyone could tell .

"May be you can talk about it with her."Becky said. "About what". About dating Orm do you think I will not notice Huh!"Orm blushed her face turning red . They were both talking just then the match ended Ling being the winner. Freen approached Ling."I need to talk to you Ling." "what happened why are you so serious ." "Ling, we are going to graduate school soon .I had liked you since the day we met. Can you be my girlfriend? "

hearing this tears fell down from Orm's eyes she faced toward's jungle and started walking . Ling was also surprised .She had never thought about dating freen . Freen was just like a sister to her."Freen I don't think this is possible I have only seen you as my best friend nothing else Freen .Hope you will understand." Freen started crying the flower she was holding fell down.Just like her hopes . Seeing her cry Becky came to comfort her , Engfa also comforted Freen while Ling went to her room she jumped at her bed and started thinking about what happened she was also hurt that she may now lose her best friend but what can she do . She did not want togive Freen false hopes That may hurt more later. Freen went home with Becky in her car and Engfa came to Ling ."Ling ! are you okay ?" "yeah I am afraid that how it may affect our friendship."

Just then Ling's phone rang .She saw the screen .It was Orm's mother .

"Hello aunty."

"Hello ,ling is Orm by the chance still there .She has not reached home yet I am worried ."

Engfa was drowsing at her bed . when Ling stormed to her room after phone call."Engfa do you know where is Orm ." "Probably at her house Ling Why? Are you missing her ?" "Its no time to joke she has not reached her home yet and the sun is going down in few minutes we have to find her before night I saw her going to jungle before . Hurry Engfa ."

Understanding the gravity of situation ,Engfa jumped out of bed and they both ran into jungle . They decided to look separately . They had been looking for her about 30 minutes then Ling heard someone crying. She followed the voice and saw Orm sitting under a tree crying .

"Orm"

"ling why are you here?"

"You know what time is it? Why You came here and why are you crying ." Ling asked worriedly. "I like you Ling. how can I stand Freen proposing you ? Don't you see how are you hurting me." Ling started laughing "Lingling now why are you laughing ?" "come on Orm your mother called for you It is getting dark we have to go home."

"First tell me what answer did you give Freen ?"Ling sighed and sat beside her."I told her that I only think of her as my best friend. Now can we go home" Orm smiled and said ,"But you will have to carry me as I have strained my foot again ." Ling smiled and carried her again in bridal style ,she also told Engfa to come back home .Reaching home she called Ms.Pat to ask permission for stayover of Orm due to her injury . She was worried but gave permission. So it was decided that Orm will sleep with Ling in her room . After dinner Ling brought her to room . First she gave her medicine then she picked her pillow to sleep at couch but Orm stopped her. "Ling , we can both sleep at bed I think it is wide enough. " Ling hesitated but truth was there were butterflies dancing in her stomach at thought of sleeping with Orm she can also see Orm's thoughts and how she was romanticizing this moment in her mind . She chuckled and laid beside her. They both were staring at the ceiling , awkwardly. Soon Ling slept but Orm could not sleep she turned herself towards Ling Suddenly Ling put her hand at Orm's waist and pulled her towards herself . Orm's face turned red . She could feel Ling's breath at her face . Their lips were only an inch apart . Her heart stopped for a second. she leant in and was about to steal a kiss when suddenly ling turned her face away . she was startled but pretended to sleep. Soon she also slept.

Today was saturday. It was off so they didn't have to hurry for school. When Ling woke up she saw Orm sleeping peacefully She smiled and put a strand of her hair behind her ear .After few minutes Orm also woke up . She said "Good morning ,Ling and for how long you are staring me "

Ling smiled but did not answer . She went to shower.
