Using advanced technology and powerful magic, the Celestial Empire subjugated neighboring kingdoms, imposing harsh laws and demanding tribute from those who resisted. Under the guise of divine mandate, they enforced a strict hierarchy that left common people powerless and suffering.

Formation of the Rebels: As the empire's tyranny deepened, whispers of rebellion began to spread among the oppressed. Disillusioned by the empire's false claims of divinity, a group of brave souls came together, forming a resistance known as the Divine Vanguard. The rebels believed in reclaiming the faith that had been lost and sought to restore the connection between humans and the gods. One fateful night, the empire's soldiers raided Aiko's village, seeking to punish any dissenters. Aiko watched in horror as they burned her home, dragging her parents away to face execution for their defiance. In the chaos, Aiko managed to escape but was left with nothing but the haunting memory of her family's last moments. Alone and filled with grief, she vowed to honor her parents' memory by fighting against the Celestial Empire.

Haunted by her past but fueled by her desire for justice, Aiko joined the Divine Vanguard, determined to rally her people and rekindle their faith in the gods. She believed that, with their support, she could liberate the oppressed and ensure that no one else would suffer as she had.
