I take a deep breath and step into the cafeteria. Smells of all kinda of food and what seems to be 'the meat special' flood my senses. I decide against joining the queue for food, I packed own today...leftovers from dinner! Yum!
I turn and scope out the area nervously, hoping Stiles meant what he said.
I sigh when I can't see him and go to turn back, but take one last check...just incase. A smile creeps it's way across my face as I see him looking at me and waving his arms about dramatically from a table up the back of the room.
I slowly make my way over to him through the crowd with the occasional "sorry!" Or "u-um excuse me" as I weave through people. I smile at him and he motions for me to take a seat beside him.
"You made it!" He says cheerily before looking over to his friend who sits at his opposite. "Scott, this is Y/N" he introduces and turns back to you "and Y/N, this is Scott" .
"Hey" Scott says warmly.
"hi" I reply rather quietly. Things go quiet and start to get awkward after a few minutes till Stiles pipes up.
"So Y/N! I'm curious...tell me about yourself? Maybe?" He asks, flashing me an adorable smile. I just can't say no to that.
"About me um...well..I'm rather quiet a you probably noticed..uh...that was super obvious sorry" I say with a slight laugh.
"It's alright" he comforts me before I continue.
"I'm a bit of a daydreamer I guess, I uh..I play (fav sport) [[ if none then don't worry about it :3 ]] and uh...I guess I'm a tad sarcastic at times...oh! And I love to draw!" I say with a smile, looking at the two boys.
Scott laughs and points to stiles "Another sarcastic one!! Stiles is like, a major in sarcasm" he says smirking at his best friend.
Stiles and I laugh as stiles replies "A major? Oh I'm honoured~" he says, showing off his sarcasm which makes scott and I laugh harder.
After talking for a while, I look around the cafeteria. Danny walks past holding Ethan's hand and waves at you. I wave back and give him a wink, motioning to Ethan. He blushes and they walk off to a table together.
I turn to stiles and quietly ask "so..is there uh..more of you guys? I mean! Like..do you have any other friends?" I mentally facepalm after I speak.
He laughs a little.
"Yeah heh, but you seemed so shy...I didn't wanna overload you with new people" he admits as though he understands my shyness. He's so kind!
I'm about to thank him when the bell rings, cutting you off.
You all get up and clear off the table. "So, what you got now Y/N?" Scott asks, emptying his tray into the bin before putting it on the pile.
I freeze for a moment. What do I have?? Oh!
"I have art!" I say, excitement showing in my voice. It's your favourite subject! [[sorry if it's not! <3 ]]
I smile, watching Stiles do the same as Scott before you all walk out to the hallway.
"Well I've got AP Biology" Scott says with a smile. Woah. AP?! He must be good at biology.
"Oh cool...how about you Stiles?" I ask as he whirls around to face you. I giggle a little as he answers, seeming a tad flustered. "Oh me? I have...uh...uhhhh" I watch him as he stands there with his mouth open, trying to think. "English???" He says, questioning himself. "No..wait..uh.." He looks down, clearly confused.
Scott smirks and answers for him "you have a free period dummy."
"Ah...yes. Yessss!" He cheers upon hearing that and you all laugh.
"Well, I'm off! Can't be late or miss will kill me!!" Scott says before leaving.
Stiles smiles at me "mind if I walk you to class?" He asks, making my cheeks heat up slightly.
"I-I..okay! thanks" I stammer out, smiling back.
We walk side by side till we reach the room. "Well..this is it" I say, turning to Stiles.
"heh alright um...say Y/N..?" He starts to ask me something.
"Oh yaaa?"
"Wanna come over after school?" He asks rather shyly. I smile brightly, my first friend..and they actually like me?! Yessss!
"I'd love to! Uh..where do you live though?" I reply.
"Oh uh..I'll just meet you here! Be easier" he says. "Well, you better get in there miss artist~" he says with a smirk on his face. His adorable face...ah shit. I like him. I laugh in response and nod, waving as I enter the room. I instantly start smiling like an idiot as I walk over to gather what I need to work on my art project.
