V1 strolled thru the vast, scorching hot layer of greed.
Slashing and shooting through hordes of enemies, the machine slowly made its way towards the pyramid standing tall in the distance. The burning sun shone bright upon the building, the light outlining the pyramid, making it appear mysterious yet stunningly beautiful.
As the blue robot walked on the bricks, it could feel the warmth emanating from beneath. The sand burning hot at probably hundreds or thousands of degrees celsius. It admired the views of the empty desert occasionally accompanied by ancient, abandoned buildings or torn corpses of filth.
V1 sat down at the edge of a tall, brick wall. It pondered, it wondered as it looked out into the distance, seeing how far it has come. Was it worth it? Was there any sense to its actions? The machine was unsure, yet had a sense of curiosity, something pushing it forward. It knew that something was awaiting, that this wasn't the end...
Things will get better...
Eventually.
