CHAPTER 4: HER EYES

ROMY'S POV

I felt the subtle change in Marielle, as she suddenly became cold like she was after the incident. I sighed, it'll take long before I get into her good book again.

After Miss Rose examine her she left without even looking back. On my way out I heard Miss Rose say “Ypi should cherish what you have before it's gone" it sounded like a warning.

A warning to me specifically, even after leaving the infirmary, her words resounded in my ears. I looked at Marielle who has been on the fast walk trying to get rid of me.

She was a little far away when I got back to the court, she's persistent about going to the club, not everyone find extracurricular fun, although, dancing maybe fun.

“ Hey man what took you so long?' Kendrick asked.
“ Had to fix her broken nose" I said taking the ball from him. “ Let's play" .

Everyone gathered, and we started shortly I scored a goal, while I was gripping on the basket, I felt Marielle's eyes on me.

Her eyes are so pretty.

I wished I could be the reflection in her orbs, so I can live where her beauty begins

I'm no poet, but that line is a big deal.

“Romy get down" Jason pulled my down .
“ You keep staring at her" he whispered. “ Should I tell Marron that his best friend has a thing for vis baby sister and see how he reacts" He wiggling his eyebrows in form of a tease.

“ That's if you don't lose you tongue" I replied to stare at Marielle's direction and to my surprise she was still standing there.

“ See you didn't deny it, I'm keeping that in mind" Jason said before going to annoyed someone else. I ignored his words my attention still on Marielle.

After a while I mouthed " When are you leaving?" But she doesn't seem to understand, just shrugged her shoulders before walking away, a sense of lose wash over me. I was still contemplating whether to go after her since out club are alongside each others when I felt a tap on my shoulder.

“ Dude you're spacing out again" this time it was Jay, Jason's twin brother.

“ Let's play again" I said before actively participate in the mini game we were having against each other.

After some minutes of playing, almost everyone went home, I remained behind.

If not probably guided or with a map one could get lost easily.

As I walked along the empty hallway to the art room, my feet halt at the window frame of the dance practice hall.

The delicate figuring moving accordingly with the music playing in the background. She did a mid air split and gracefully landed on her toes without losing balance.

I genuinely admire her, her beauty is so ethereal, as the sunset added a beautiful glow glow to her...

“ Marielle, we'll be taking our leave now, ehn, don't forget to take a break" a girl said to Marielle.
“ No problem, I'll be done soon and I'm waiting for my brother you know." Marielle replied with a small smile.

For unknown reasons Marielle seems to be glowing, just like in those romantic Kdramas, especially when the male lead starts liking the female lead.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no male lead and it's not like I'll like Marielle or something and FYI, my sister and mother only watch Kdrama, and we can't leave when they are watching the drama.

Bossy much? Yeah they sure are.

“ Oh my goshhh, Romy what are you doing here...?" Th girl who previously was talking to Marielle squeaked in a high pitch voice.
