MILLIE:
I had been getting death threats for weeks now,I couldn't tell Charlie or any of the others.They were threats like 'Ugly bitch' 'Just end it now and save us some time'.Save us some time?What the fuck did that mean? I hated them..I couldn't tell my dad,he had enough going on.I hadn't even told him me and Charlie were together.One day,i relapsed..I grabbed the pills out my drawer and took them.My head felt dizzy and I fell to the floor.It was hours before I woke up.More text messages from UNKNOWN.

NEW MESSAGE FROM UKNOWN NUMBER
'Oh dear,seems you had a fall Hm? What would Charlie say.?'
I stared at the message..they had knew I fell off the drugs,they knew about Charlie..how much else did they know?I texted Alice..I could rely on her right?

ALICE 💕💕:

ME: can I sleep round yours maybe ? x

ALICE: ofc! Alfie's round right now but you can come round soon x

ME: thank you x see you soon

I sat against the wall..should I text Charlie about it?Should I tell him?He would understand right?
I started to sob..I broke down..I couldn't take it.
My dad entered."Hey baby is everything-" He looked at me..then the empty pill tub on the floor..
"Oh Millie baby.." he hugged me."You're safe here..just you and me mills." I started to sob."That boy of yours is here..I think his name is Charlie?" My dad looked at me as I ran downstairs and threw myself in Charlie's arms.

"Hey,is everything okay?" He said soft and he whispered.I shook my head
"We have to go to Alice's..I'll explain everything there okay?" I kissed him and he kissed me back before we intertwined our fingers and headed in the damp,cold street to walk to Alice's.

"Are you sure everything is okay.?" Charlie stopped walking and stared into my eyes..I couldn't tell him.He wouldn't understand.I nodded and put on a fake smile.
"Yeah,im glad you're here with me though.."

WEEKS PASSED

More texts..more threats..more pills..I had stopped talking to Charlie..my friends were figuring out the case.I didn't text Alice for weeks.I pulled out the burner phone from my drawer and diled my old dealers number

ON THE PHONE

MILLIE: Hi Steven,it's me Millie starling? I was wondering if you had anything I could get..just for sleep and stuff

STEVEN: You know me mills,always got stuff in come to my house tonight and I'll give you it..payment on the door though.

MILLIE: Thanks Steven..see you later.

2 HOURS LATER

I arrived at Steven's house..I knocked and he smirked as he saw me."Hey mills." He smiled and let me in."So what you want I got..Xanax which should help you sleep or I got something stronger?" He grabbed the bags and placed them on the coffee table.

"Xanax is fine..how much?" I asked as I pulled my cash out my purse but he stopped me by grabbing my wrist.
"Don't it's on the house...as your one of my oldest friends." I sighed and looked at him.

"How you been?" I asked as he handed me a coffee.
"Good.." He shrugged as he took a sip of his coffee.
"How's Maxine?" I asked
"She's good,how's alfie?" How could I answer that?I hadn't talk to them in weeks?I looked at him.
"I don't know..I've been really distant lately with Alfie,Alice and Charlie"
Hours pass and i had broken down,telling Steven everything that was wrong.The door opened and Maxine entered.
"Woah mills you okay?" She cupped my face in her hands and wiped the tears away.

STEVEN:

Me and Millie had been good friends before i had moved away with Maxine,i missed my family sure i did.But my brother was hurting his own daughter..I would've took Alfie with me if his bitch mom would've let me.Poor old Millie coming back to me.Of course it was me who sent those texts,although I had some help.I watched as Maxine cupped Millie's face in her hands."It's okay..we're here."
