It was a normal fifth period at Morton high school,Alfie sat drawing skeleton bones on his hand.He glanced over at his best friend,Charlie smith,who was staring into space as Mr Clark explained math equations."Ahem,Mr smith?" Mr Clark looked at Charlie.Charlie zoned back into reality.
"Huh?did someone say my name?" He questioned.Alfie snickered and played with his pen.
Mr Clark sighed and pointed to the board."Mr smith!if you'd had been paying attention you'd know what I was asking.!" He shouts and he waves his finger at the board and then Charlie's face."How do you find the prime factors of 15?" A prime factor is a natural number other than 1,whose only factors are 1 and itself,and they were also Charlie smiths worst nightmare in terms of math.He was a super smart guy,funny,kind,but he would always zone out. Charlie lived with his grandmother,his parents died when he was only 3 years old.Alfie had been by his side since,protecting him and looking out for him.
Alfie whispered the answer."Hey Charlie..it's 3 and 5." Charlie nodded and answered "3 and 5 mr Clark." Mr Clark nodded.Charlie smiled at Alfie."thanks man".
Suddenly,the classroom door opened and a girl entered.She had long brown straight hair and sparkling eyes.Alfie could also see she was really really pretty.Mr Clark smiled as she entered "Hello miss wilson,please take a seat." She nodded and sat in 𝐣𝐚𝐱𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 seat.The whole class gasped and Alfie looked at the empty seat in the back corner."That's jaxon winters seat..he went missing about 5 months ago.."He paused. "Pretty big deal round here" He looked at the new girl as she stood up quick and went to another empty chair.The door opened again with a 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤.Charlie glanced up and saw another girl,brown curled hair,brown eyes.She smiled and sat in a empty chair.Thankfully,not Jaxon winters.Class went on for another 30 minutes..and then finally the bell rang.Alfie practically leaped out his seat with Charlie before he heard a voice speak up."Mr Moore,Mr smith,Mrs Wilson and Mrs starling.I have a project I'd like you four to do over the summer,it can be of your choosing,anything you'd like!but you'll have to work together." He announced.Alfie and one of the girls groaned in protest but Charlie stayed silent.His gaze on the floor."Fine" Alfie nodded and walked away Charlie on his heels "seriously man!" "I don't wanna do a project with a bunch of girls..!" Alfie sighed.The two girls caught up to them."Names alice" the one with the straight brown hair announced..although she sounded agitated."I'm Alfie and that's Charlie." He nudged Charlie who had zoned out."Well nice to meet you,this over here is Millie." They all nodded in awkward silence before Charlie spoke up."When we get to doing our project..can we order some food?" They all nodded eagerly and laughed as they walked out the school
