-HandjobPROLOUGE: Xandre's phone buzzed in his hand. He turned it on and looked at the full screen.
'Hey, me and some friends r gonna be having a little sleepover if you wanna join.' A text read on screen.
a look of surprise and excitement flashed across Xandre's face. Maybe this could help him get away from those horrible nightmares. Maybe..
He got dressed, wearing a skater-esque outfit. He was, surprisingly quite fond of his fashion taste.
..
When he arrived, there were four other teenage boys around his age there. Some were recognizable, while others.. not as much.
Then he saw.. Him. Felix, his rival that he's despised since middle school. Xandre knew his friends were friends with Felix, but he couldn't help but frown slightly at he familiar face that seemed to torment him everywhere he went..
..
Soon enough, it was already time for bed. The boys were separated since there were many of them, and since Xandre's friend Danny was quite rich. The final two boys who had to share a room were Xandre.. And Felix.
..
Xandre looked around, his heart beating furiously. He had been having the same nightmare for weeks now. As he tried to calm himself, he noticed that he was not alone. Sitting on the bed across from him was Felix, eyes wide open.
"You okay?" Felix asked, his voice breaking the silence.
Xandre flinched at the sudden sound, but he was secretly glad to have the distraction from his nightmare. "Yeah," he muttered, sitting up in bed. "Just a bad dream."
Felix scrutinized him in the dim light. "You sure? You look pretty shaken up," he said, his tone surprisingly gentle.
Xandre felt annoyance flare-up. He didn't need Felix's concern, least of all in the middle of the night. "I'm fine," he snapped, trying to push away the lingering terror from the dream.
Felix raised an eyebrow at his tone. "No need to be so defensive," he said, leaning back casually against the headboard. "I was just asking. There's no need to bite my head off."
Xandre gritted his teeth. Why did Felix always have to be so aggravating? "Why do you even care?" he shot back.
Felix shrugged. "Can't a guy just show some human decency once in a while?" he said, a smirk playing at the corner of his lips.
"You? Human decency?" Xandre snorted in disbelief. "That's a good one. Since when do you even know what that is?"
Felix chuckled. "I have my moments," he said, his eyes glittering with mischief. "Besides, maybe I take a little pleasure in seeing you all riled up. It's cute."
Xandre felt a flush rising in his cheeks. "I'm not cute," he protested, his voice cracking slightly.
Felix's smirk widened. "Sure you are," he said, his eyes roaming over Xandre's flushed face. "All flustered and embarrassed. It's adorable."
Xandre felt a prickling heat under Felix's gaze. "Shut up," he muttered, looking away. He didn't know how to handle this. He was used to clashing with Felix, not having him compliment him.
Felix chuckled again, enjoying the effect he was having. "Aww. Embarrassed, are we?" he teased. "Don't worry. I won't tell anyone how cute you get when you're all worked up."
Xandre shot him a glare. "I'm not worked up," he insisted, the denial sounding unconvincing even to his own ears.
Felix leaned forward, a predatory gleam in his eyes. "No? Then why are you blushing so much?" he teased, his fingers brushing the edge of Xandre's blanket.
