Rainbow's Pov
~☆~
"Rain, hey. We're here." Soarin gently tapped my shoulder. "Ugrhmmm..." I groaned, "Shh, Cloud Swirl is asleep." He put his hand to my mouth. I ripped it off quickly. "Don't touch me." I grumbled, raspier than usual. "Chillax, princess. And also, drink some water." He handed me his green water bottle. "It's your water." I said, my voice getting worse. "It doesn't matter." He shoved the water into my hands. I looked at him, "Do not make this the same situation as the spoon." He glared, "Ughh, fine." I sighed, and opened the top of the bottle. I gluped down the water, Soarin staring at me in the process.
I swallowed it, "...What?" I asked, "Nothing." He said, I rolled my eyes.
"Let get going, it's almost 5am already." He stepped out of the car, and went around to open my door. "You know, this is really unnecessary." I stepped out of the passenger seat. "I don't mind. Really." He grinned, "I do." I said, looking up at him. He went to get the sleeping girl out of the car, "Soarin, you want some help?" I asked, "No, no. It's alright." He picked up Cloud Swirl. "Soarin, there's like two suitcases in the back. At least let me carry those." I walked to the back of the Ferrari, and opened the boot. Well, I tried to at least.
"No, I got it!" He insisted, running over to me, Cloud Swirl in hand. "Soarin." I seriously looked at the boy. "Let me help you." I glared, "It's fine. I can do it." He said, opening the boot. I grabbed his hand before he could grab anything else.
"Soarin." I glared again, "...Ugh, please stop looking at me like that," he turned away from me. "It's not that big of a deal, let me carry her." I gestured to his sleeping sister. "... Alright fine." He gently handed me the girl. "I don't understand why you won't let me help you." I rolled my eyes, hoisting his sister up. He mumbled something underneath his breath, "You said something?" I asked, "Err, no." He pulled out a small duffle bag from the boot. "Soarin, you can talk to me, you know that, right?" I put a hand on his shoulder. "Yeah, I know." He dismissed my hand, and closed the boot.
"Let's go inside." He locked the car, and we headed to the lobby of the campus.
You know... I wonder if we're even allowed to keep a child here...
"Soarin?"
"Yeah?" He responded as he pushed the button for the elevator. "Is your sister even allowed to be here?" I asked, reffering to the sleeping girl in my arms. "Yes, I asked administration about it. Then said it was fine, I just don't know what we're going to do when we both have class together." He sighed,
"Oh."
The elevator doors opened for us, no one being inside, obviously. It was super early in the morning. I stepped inside first, Soarin following behind me. "Well, we can't bring her, maybe one of my friends can take care of her, if that's okay with you?" I suggested, "Uhm, I don't know." He pressed the button to the 5th floor. "You want me to stay behind instead? You could just give me the notes for the day." I asked, I really don't mind taking care of her. I have experience anyways, "Really? Are you sure?" His eyes widened, "Yeah, it's not a big deal. I'm too tired to go anyway." I shrugged, holding Cloud Swirl close to me. "Thank you, Rainbow. You're the best." He gave me a quick hug, I felt my face flush red as he embraced me. "Y-Yeah, no problem." I smiled, we arrived at our floor and exited the elevator.
We then walked down the hall to our dorm room, 521. Soarin put down Cloud Swirl's bags, and pulled out the dorm key. He unlocked the door, and we both walk inside. Soarin then closed the door, locking it.
