At the end of her detention she gets out and start walking to Stefan's house. Once she's there she knock but the door open alone. She slowly gets in.
« Stefan? » asked the girl walking inside « Stefan? »
She kept walking. The house was magnificent. She turns around when she hears a sound but when she turns back again she fall face to face with a man. The same man she saw in the cemetery.
« I'm sorry... The door was open... »
« We met didn't we? »
« Yeah Damon. »
« Megan happy to see you again. You followed me? If you wanted my number you could only have asked » said the boy with a flirty smile
« No no. I wasn't... I came to see Stefan... »
« I'm Stefan's big brother »

« Come come do like at yours. Stefan should be there soon »

Megan turns to Damon.

When she turns around she sees Stefan looking at his brother with hate in the eyes.
« Hi Megan. I thought you would come sooner. »

« No you come here whenever you want. Right little brother? » says Damon « Oh and by the way it would be time to get the pictures out. But I'm telling you he wasn't really cute before. »
« I think you should go Megan. I'm happy you came. »
« You asked me to come »
« Yeah but with my brother here we won't be able to talk calmly. »
« What are these manner you won't even walk her to the door? »
« No it's fine, I need to go cook dinner for my family anyway. »
« It's not fine. I'll at least walk you to the door » says Damon « I don't know what got into his head today, normally he's way more polite than that, I'm sorry Megan really. »
She walks up to the door and Damon open it for her.
« You come back whenever you want. » says Damon with a smile
She gets out and walk back to her home. Still thinking about the strange behaviour of Stefan. Maybe she got it wrong, maybe they weren't friends after all. He probably didn't wanted her to know his secret... Back at home and cooking dinner with her sister and her aunt they both couldn't do abstraction of her face.
« Are you okay Meg? » asked Elena while putting everything on the table
« Yeah, it's just Stefan he was really strange »
« What king of strange? » asked her aunt
« He is still in love with his ex from what his brother told me, and he kind of hate his brother I think... »
« Well you're not over your ex either so it's good I guess. » says Elena
« I'm totally over him. And it's different, my ex left the town a week after my accident and the death of my parents. So I have the right to be a little mad »
