𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 {𝗞.𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻}

01. 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

Beth Gilbert stood walking through mystic falls as she was grabbed and pinned to the ground as she looked to see her sister Elena on top of her, her fangs at the ready to bite into her.

Suddenly Elena was grabbed off of her and thrown to the side

"Now that's no way to treat your sister" a voice said as Beth looked to see klaus

"Well who would of thought that you'd be here to protect me" Beth said as he helped her up and smirked

"I'm not as bad as I seem or maybe I am" he said as Beth looked to him and rolled her eyes

"I can see why you keep your siblings in a box" Beth said as klaus smirked at her

"You were off looking Katerina are you going to tell me what was said" he asked

"Depends are you going to protect me I am the human here" Beth said

"Oh don't worry Bethanie I will protect you from the likes of the Salvatore brothers and from your sister" he said

"It's a shame you didn't kill her when you had the chance" Beth said as he looked to her and smirked

"Hmm it's not as if I haven't thought over it all. Are you okay. I heads over your brother" he asked as she looked to him and sighed

"My brother died because of the hands of my sister. I don't want to talk over it" she said as the two of them held a look as her was her off

"Just because I have been tracking Katherine down and a human don't think I am a push over I am not my sister by any circumstances trust me on that" she said as he looked to her and smirked

"Oh I can see that" he said

Beth and Klaus are sitting at a table across from each other. Hayley, pulling her foot up onto her chair, takes a sip of wine while Klaus talks to her

"So, you're rested, you're fed. Tell me about Katerina." Klaus said

"Most men get their power kick from torture and intimidation. With you, it's drinks and fine dining." Beth said

" Well, in your case, I favor hospitality over unpleasantness, but I have been known to change my mind on a whim. Where is Katerina?"

" You seriously think I know?" Beth said

"I'll do well not to underestimate you I think that you know more than your letting on" he said as Beth smirked

Beth looks at him and pauses for a moment before setting down her glass and readjusting in her seat, leaning forward.

"I wanted to find the cord so I could kill my sister's Katherine found me" Beth said

"I'm the only one that can protect you. I'm happy to do so, provided you cooperate." He said

"I just need to stay alive if you can do that and try not to eat me" Beth said as he chuckled

Beth walks into another room with a drink in her hand, Klaus following behind her and stopping in the doorway. She approaches an area where Klaus' paintings lay on tables or stand propped up on the ground.
