YOU SWUNG THE DOOR OPEN—— as you skipped inside the small home. Ukai sighed as he placed his car keys on the counter.
Usually he stays at work all day, but since he has a new addition to his family he needed to drive her home ʻʻ[name]..ʼʼ you glanced up at your earth dad with an eyebrow raised, showing attentive listening
ʻʻDo you remember the way home?ʼʼ you looked up in thought. This made Ukai uneasy ʻʻumm..yes! M-maybe?ʼʼ Ukai groaned. He reached inside his pockets, fumbling through it.
He pulled out his phone, he inputs his house location on the gps app then searched the schools location
ʻʻI'll send you the directions to it.ʼʼ you stared at the rectangular object, you snapped your fingers as it came to you
ʻʻOh, you mean the phone?ʼʼ you pulled out your phone that he bought you. You glared at the phone in your hand ʻʻI still don't know how to work it...ʼʼ Ukai face palmed ʻʻI'll draw you a map!ʼʼ you could see the irk mark appearing on his forhead.
You perked up, remembering the assignment your teacher gave you ʻʻOh!ʼʼ you grabbed your school bag and unziped it. You reached inside of it trying to find that one paper.
One you found the paper you held it up high with a celebratory face ʻʻEarth Father! May i have the' help with the homework?ʼʼ ukai flinched, he wasn't the type to get good grades. He shook his head 'no' furiously ʻʻI was terrible at school.ʼʼ you slumped down, a bit disappointed that your earth dad couldn't help you with earth things
ʻʻCan't one of the three...whatever their names are, ask one of them for help.ʼʼ he waved his hand around dismissively. You clutched the paper with both hands, giving him the most intense puppy eyes you could ever give ʻʻPlease!ʼʼ
ʻʻALRIGHT! Alright..ʼʼ
Ukai placed his phone in his pocket while he slumped on the couch. He held his hand out ʻʻGive it here...ʼʼ you handed him the paper, happier than before. He glanced over the instructions on the paper
ʻʻWhy do you need help with this?ʼʼ you tilted your head ʻʻBecause its hard?—ʼʼ
ʻʻ—It's an 'all about me' assignment!ʼʼ
You stared at the paper in confusion. Ukai was left agape ʻʻAn assignment where you write information about yourself?!ʼʼ your smiled widened.
You grabbed the paper from Ukai and placed it on the table in front of you. You dug through your backpack to find the wooden stick humans wrote with ʻʻAs humans say, well inside of the case!ʼʼ you answered the questions on the paper, you decided to do it at the speed of light just to completeit a lot faster.
You completed the assignment along with some mini drawings of stars and things you've seen in space ʻʻDone!ʼʼ Ukai yelped when the pencil started smoking. You blowed the smoke away, easing the worries of Ukai.
You turned to him with excitement swirled in your eyes ʻʻCan we hang out all day tomorrow?ʼʼ you clasped your hands together ʻʻNo, we can'tʼʼ he leaned his head back on the couch, his voice was rasphy ʻʻwhy?ʼʼ you copied his position, it was a little uncomfortable for you. He lift his head up to look at you
ʻʻI have work and you have schoolʼʼ you sucked in a harsh gasp ʻʻNot only does females get to learn stuff, but humans go to school everyday too!ʼʼ you cheered at the fresh information you've discovered

You read over your completed homework all giddy. You were so excited to share interesting information about you. The teacher notified the students to have their homework out on their desk as she went around to collect them.
Finally, she got to your desk, but she didn't take it. She stared at the paper in confusion ʻʻUkai...what language is that?ʼʼ she picked up the paper and brought it close to her face. She squinted trying to decipher what was written on the page
ʻʻThats my native language, Tamaranian..I dont know how to write in Japanese—ʼʼ you explained. She interjected ʻʻTamaranian is not a language.ʼʼ she said.
You crossed your arms ʻʻYes it is..ʼʼ she sighed, already wishing the day was over ʻʻAlright then, would you like reading this to the class.ʼʼ now you feel like she was poking at you.
You hesitantly took the paper from her and walked to the front of the class. You turned to face the class, taking a deep breath to start you off
ʻʻWell, my name is [Name]—I think its Ukai now..before it used to be [name] fire.ʼʼ you heard giggling, you assumed they were amused by your sparky personality so you let them laugh
ʻʻOh! My favorite pass time is to ride asteroids.ʼʼ this time the laughter was louder than before
ʻʻI don't know what a movie is, but i was born on the planet Tamaran. Oh! and—ʼʼ
you looked up at the class, you noticed some students covering their mouths and others whispering to their friends.
All eyes were judging you, Except a the eyes that belonged to an orange haired boy—they held sparkles in them
ʻʻOh, you're not the' laughing with me..just the' at me..ʼʼ you held the paper up to cover the bottom of your face. The teacher pinched the bridge of her nose, if she was so annoyed then she could tell the class to stop, but she didn't seem to care.
She sighed and stepped towards you ʻʻJust..have your seat.ʼʼ she grabbed the paper from your hands. You stood frozen, you could still hear some snickering among the students, their stares made you even more self conscious. It reminded you of how your sister would constantly tease you. You rushed out of the door, not caring about school anymore. All you wanted was to get away from them, the pointing, the laughing, all of it.
It's like dealing with Blackfire all over again..
