Snow crunched beneath their feet as the four of them strolled through the streets of Hogsmeade, the village aglow under the soft white blanket that covered everything in sight. Harry's face was still flushed from the excitement of his encounter with Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle, but it was quickly replaced with an expression of amazement as he took in the sights of the wizarding village for the very first time.

"That was hilarious, I can't get Crabbe and Goyles fearful faces out of my head!" Ron exclaimed, his breath fogging up the air as he fell into step beside him. "That was bloody brilliant, the way you sent them running. I didn't know they were capable of running for Merlin's sake!"

Hermione shook her head, though a faint smile tugged at her lips. "It was reckless, but I'll admit, it was... effective."

Before Harry could respond, he felt an arm link through his own, and suddenly, he was being pulled forward, almost stumbling to keep up.

"Come on, Mr. Runaway!" Y/N called out, her eyes sparkling as she tugged him down the snowy path. "You finally escaped Hogwarts—now I'm giving you the full Hogsmeade tour, no stopping until you've seen everything."

"Mr. Runaway?" Harry repeated with a chuckle, still a bit breathless from being pulled along.

"Yep! Escaped right under everyone's noses, didn't you? Now it's my duty to make sure you see everything, so you won't want to run away again," Y/N teased, giving him a mischievous smile before picking up the pace. Her boots crunched in the snow, and her scarf trailed behind her as she led him past the bustling shop windows.

Ron and Hermione exchanged amused glances before jogging to catch up.

"Where exactly are you dragging him off to first?" Ron asked, slipping slightly on the icy street before catching himself.

"Everywhere!" Y/N declared dramatically, turning to face them as she continued walking backwards. "But first... The Three Broom Sticks!"

Harry laughed, already feeling warmer despite the cold air biting at his cheeks. Y/N's energy was infectious, her enthusiasm lifting his spirits as she bounced ahead, still clinging to his arm. It was his first time at Hogsmeade, and with Y/N guiding him, he couldn't help but feel like a child seeing magic for the first time all over again.

They stopped outside Zonko's Joke Shop, its windows filled with pranking items that had Ron practically drooling.

"I could live in here," Ron muttered dreamily, pressing his face to the glass.

Y/N gave a snort of laughter. "Come on, Ron, we'll have time for Zonko's later. Harry needs something warm first." She glanced up at Harry, a playful smirk curling on her lips. "Besides, I don't think you need any more trouble after what you pulled on Malfoy."

"Fair point," Harry admitted with a grin.

Hermione stepped up beside them, wrapping her scarf tighter around her neck. "Well, come on then let's hurry I'm freezing out here and I think Harry's earned himself a nice warm butterbeer."

"Oh, definitely!" Y/N agreed, practically bouncing on the balls of her feet as she glanced at Harry. "You can't come to Hogsmeade and not try butterbeer. It's like a rite of passage."

Without waiting for a response, she tightened her grip on Harry's arm and continued to pull him down the snowy path, her footsteps light and hurried.

"Y/N, slow down!" Harry laughed, but he didn't really mind being dragged along. His first trip to Hogsmeade was shaping up to be one of the best days he could remember, and Y/N's excitement only made it better.
