Momina pour the coffee in mugs and added alot of cream like usual, she took them and made her way toward the room where jungkook was now in his causal attire which consisted of gray t shirt and sweats, sitting in the same position she left him a few minutes ago. Jungkook asked for a cup of coffee while they discussed the matter which was still unknown to momina. The rain was still pouring down with thunder striking time to time, she cleared her throat to make her presence known and sat on the prayer mat. Jungkook took the cup thanking her, he smiled looking at the amount of cream "you never asked how I like my coffee" jungkook was sitting in a distance from the prayer mat where momina was  "I know you don't like it sweet" jungkook looked at her with surprise "but you always make it extra creamy may I ask why?" She shrugged nonchalantly "because the bitterness of coffee was influencing your words and personality so I changed it, see you're not as unbearable as you used to be" she smiled making him scoff at her reasoning "do you have any idea I used to be university's heartthrob and every lady's sweetheart" she shook her head "women have tendency to be stupid at times specifically during their college time" jungkook glared at her "stupid like you right?" Momina looked at him for a moment, the corners of her lip tugging upward very subtly "yeah like me" He smirked satisfied by the answer not knowing that he literally slapped her with his words "do you not like it?" She gestured toward his cup which he was sipping on casually "I didn't say I don't like it" it was her turn to be confused "then?" He shrugged making her roll her eyes at his brattyness "what did you want to discuss?" She asked "I've to go to Australia for a business trip" she nodded encouraging him to speak further "I might have to stay there for 2 to 3 days at least, but I am worried about Han. I can't take him with me as I will be doing work most of the time and I can't leave him here alone as well. So I decided I will back out and cancel the deal with that company  then there won't be any problem but Hye Jin asked me to think about it. I don't know what to do" she hummed thinking about it, her eyes were squinted as she focused on finding solution " Mr jeony, I think backing out is not very great and professional, there will come times you need to go abroad you can't avoid it every time so" she looked at him "Han will stay with me while you go and Crack the deal yeah? I'm sure you trust me enough after these months to let Han stay the night with me as well" jungkook glanced at Han's sleeping figure, his mind was lost in thoughts "how am I gonna stay these days without him?" He uttered mindlessly "I'm scared of staying away from him momina" jungkook looked so vulnerable, it broke her heart "jungkook I know you will hate me for saying this but please think about it" his gaze shifts from han to momina, he could see hesitation and fear in her eyes "please find yourself a partner with whom you can share your worries, who can take care of Han, someone you can trust , someone you can share about your days, someone who gives you reason to come back home, whose existence gives you peace. You are ruining yourself and Han, he needs a mother and you need a partner jungkook, there's a difference between living your life and surviving and looking at you, you're just doing the latter. I know you're not ready to fall in love but at least you can start with a friendahip" her grip on the cup tightened as she took in his face, there was no smile or any trace of approval of what she said. Was he going to get angry at her? Will he ask her to leave like always? Her heart was thumping in her chest at all the possibilities. There was a loud thunder bolt outside, the rain started falling with all might. His silence was giving her anxiety, it was getting unbearable for her "I'm so sor-" " I know my decision isn't very rational, my life isn't easy and It's affecting Han too. He is growing up in an incomplete environment without getting a mother's love, and his father is out working most of the time. He's gotten so attached to you that even on weekends when I'm home he wants you" jungkook sighed dejectedly "I'm a really bad father, a worst kind of person who is selfish and drowned in his own misery that he has neglected his son needs. I can't bring myself to think about another woman, I feel like I'm betraying Seo-ah. She will think, she was so easy to be forgotten and I don't want that. I can stay like that forever, but Han" momina eyes stung, she wanted to tell him that he was the best father and the most loving husband, that he shouldn't blame himself for the events of life that happened to him "you will leave some day, han and I will be brought back to where we started. No one stays forever, they all leave and I can't bear the pain of losing everyone I love or is part of my life in some way" a tear rolled down her cheek and dropped in her coffee, jungkook eyes followed the movement "I am stuck in a loop, even though I'm tired and broken there's no way out for me momina, Han will grow he'll get distracted by the wonderful things but I, I will be stuck here" his eyes followed her tears as they rolled down and then disappeared in her cup of coffee which was half empty "you don't have to be stuck here jungkook, I know you loved your wife dearly and no one can replace her in your life but she will too not want to see you like that, she loved you and would want the best for you please just try to give it a shot. You don't have to fall in love immediately take time but at least take a step" his lips curved upward "no one wants a married man and even if they're okay with that, they will never take responsibility for his son" she wiped her face with the back of hand, and suddenly jungkook was brought out of trance "I will help you find someone who can cherish Han and his father the way they deserve" she uttered with determination making him chuckle at her vigor "momina I don't think-" "please trust me, I will find the best girl for you I know many" "girls? They won't stick around even for a day" he uttered finishing the rest of coffee "I mean decent and beautiful woman, who will look good when she stands next to you" she smiled " you'll tire yourself unnecessarily, just leave it" she shook her head "No please just give me a signal and leave the rest to me" jungkook sighed at her obstinacy "I don't think it's a good idea -" " you'll thank me when one day, you'll actually find some one who will start popping in your mind when some romantic song plays in the background" jungkook blurts out a laugh "you'll feel suffocated when she's not around, she'll come to your mind when you close your eyes and when you open them, you'll dream of her every night to sum up, you'll find your soul mate inshaAllah" she finished her speech with smile "I don't know what to say, it's real life things like that only happens in movies -" "shhh just trust me and you'll feel the same" he raised his hands in mock surrender "ok ok" he said and looked at han who was tossing and turning in his bed "the tiger is waking up" momina placed her cup on the table and went to pick up Han "I'll go and give him some food then I'll leave" jungkook nodded his head and watched them leave. The room fell silent again, it felt good to have conversation with momina like that, to express his emotions, to show his insecurities, his chest felt lighter there was no burden anymore. Jungkook stood up eyes falling on her cup which was half empty. He grabbed it and stared at it for some time, his mind wandered back to the enchanting scene of her tears rolling down and dropping in the cup, he shook his head to get rid of thoughts and made his way to the lounge where momina fed Han some rice then left for her home not before bidding them farewell.
