It had been a month since that fateful night in the basement, yet progress was painfully slow. Isha was managing both companies with unwavering determination, aided by Ansh and the others. Every day, she tried to help Ryan regain his memories, but he had only seen fleeting glimpses of their childhood—nothing more. Despite her relentless efforts, the agony of seeing him like this was slowly breaking her from within.

The pain of having Ayansh yet being unable to express her love, her anger, her longing for Ryan was suffocating.

That evening, she sat alone on the balcony, gazing at the dark, cloud-laden sky. Inside the room, Ryan lay asleep on the bed. The stillness of the night weighed on her, and after what felt like an eternity, she finally rose to return to the bedroom. But as she stepped inside, her heart clenched—Ryan was gone.

Her eyes darted to the door, which stood ajar. Without a second thought, she ran outside. She was about to descend the stairs when a slight movement caught her attention—the terrace door was open. Fear gripped her, but she steeled herself and walked toward it.

Pushing the door open, she found Ryan standing at the edge of the terrace, unmoving, his back facing her. A chilling silence surrounded him. She hesitated but took careful steps toward him, unwilling to startle him.

Just as she was about to call his name, his voice, heavy with sorrow, reached her ears.

"Why? Why can't I remember anything? I see glimpses of my past with Ishu, but beyond that, everything is a void." His voice trembled with frustration and grief.

"Since the day I woke up, I’ve felt this deep connection with Ishu. It’s as if my soul recognizes her, yet my mind refuses to. I want to remember—I need to remember. But how?" He lowered his head in anguish.

Isha didn't speak. Instead, she stepped closer and wrapped her arms around him from behind, resting her head against his back.

"Ishu..." he whispered.

"Yes, Rey?" The moment the words left her lips, realization struck her. She quickly pulled away and turned him to face her, searching his eyes with confusion.

"How did you know it was me?" she asked, her voice laced with disbelief.

Ryan took a step forward and pulled her close by the waist.

"I don’t know… But I can feel you. Whenever you’re near me, I feel different. I feel whole."

Isha's breath hitched. "And when I go away?" she asked, still locked in his embrace.

"It feels like someone has stolen the air from my lungs," he confessed, his gaze never leaving hers.

Her heart fluttered at his words. Even without his memories, his love for her remained unchanged. She blushed, torn between joy and the lingering ache of his forgotten past.
