Taylor had barely been in the clubhouse for more than five minutes before getting approached with her first problem of the day, a new record, but the problem came from Keely, so she didn't mind all that much.
"Babes!" Keely yelled running after Taylor as the photographer entered the Richmond clubhouse "I have a huge problem. Can we talk?"
"Yeah, course" Taylor grabbed Keely's hand and dragged her into the office. She placed Keely down in a chair and told her to stay before grabbing a pink and fluffy pillow from the small sofa she had and gave it to Keely. Keely hugged the pillow to her chest before Taylor grabbed another and sat with her feet on the edge of her swivel chair. She hugged the purple pillow to her chest "Okay, go."
"I appreciate the pillow babes," Keely said hugging it closer.
"Emotional support pillow, no girls chat is complete without it" Taylor recited like a slogan for a tv advert. " Now what's wrong? You look sadder than that model dressed as the Panda."
"Yeah, she looked like she was rethinking all her life decisions."
"We've all been there," Taylor said waving a hand nonchalantly.
Keely pulled her phone out from her back jean pocket and handed it over.
Taylor placed her index finger on the finger scanner and the phone turned on to what Keely immediately wanted her to see. it was a pictures of Keely and Ted from the vodka shoot, Ted was feeding Keely a burger. innocent enough Taylor thought. She looked at Keely wondering if this was what she had gotten so worked up over.
"Keep swiping" Keely said burying her face into the pillow, a look of embarrassment and shame crossed her face.
Taylor swiped to the next photo. In this one Ted was wiping ketchup from the side of Keely's mouth. There was five or six more all more or less the same, the only thing difference Keely was laughing in some.
When she had seen enough she switched the phone off and placed it screen down on the desk. She took her feet down and leaned forward crossing her arms. The pictures weren't so bad in the grand scheme of things, if you took into account the entire picture, and the context, but a person reading it in the sun over their morning coffee would think that this was a quick intimate lunch between lovers. Or they wouldn't care and would let their imaginations run wild just to give their boring self something to obsessed with. It would be Keely who would suffer, the media were never kind to women.
"It isn't what it looks like" Keely rushed to say seeing the look on Taylor's face.
"It looks like a friend feeding another friend a burger because the first friend has giant claws attached to her nails." Taylor said slowly thinking over every word she said. "Which did you get to take home by the way?"
"Yes, I did" Keely said with a small smile.
"Nice!"
They shared a small laugh and Keely who was momentarily distracted, deflated again she said "But it only looks that way cos you know me and Ted are just friends, but if Jamie sees-" Keely winced thinking of the fallout that could happen with her boyfriend.
