Feeling a bit frustrated, Vatsalya leaned in and whispered in Rishank's ear, “Do I look like your 'Di' to you?"

Rishank, being his innocent self, answered Vatsalya's question sincerely. " Par Aap 12th mein ho ushke according to main aapko di hi bulaunga na. "

[ Well, you're in 12th grade, so according to that, I must address you as 'Di' right? ]

Vatsalya nonchalantly rolled her eyes. "There is no need to call me 'Di.' 'Miss will be fine too ," she responded calmly.

Rishank quickly corrected himself, "Oh, OK Miss." He shifted his focus back to the ongoing lesson.

As time passed, the first activity period concluded, and the students immersed themselves in their classes, now this was the fifth lecture of the students.

On the other hand, Class 12th has session with their English teacher Rani Maam. She is known for her strict yet compassionate nature, always setting high expectations for her 12th grade English class.

Vatsalya rested her head on Niya's shoulder and complained, " Kya Yaar Ye Rani miss kabhi absent kyu nahi hoti! aur pehle hi din class kaun leta hai? "

[ Why don't Rani Miss take leave someday and who the hell takes class on the very first day? ]

Niya responded with a deadpan expression. " Puch to aise rahi hai jaise unhone mujhe bata rakha hai ki woh kyu leave nahi leti. "

[ You are asking me as if she has already told me why she don't take leave ]

Vatsalya delved into her thoughts, expressing her frustration. " Ye saare English ke teachers khadoos aur akdo type ke kyu hote aur upar se hamesha school mein regular rehte hai, mere pichle school ke English teachers bilkul Rani maam ki tarah the."

[ Why English teachers are always so strict and grumpy. It's like they never take a break. My previous English teachers were exactly like Miss Rani, always sticking to their class schedules with utmost dedication. It's almost annoying ]

Vatsalya continued to complain, her words blending into the ongoing English class, seemingly oblivious to Miss Rani's lessons. Niya, on the other, was fully engaged in the class, taking in every word with a focused attention that contrasted with Vatsa's behavior.

Miss Rani whose eyes went to  Vatsalya, she hurriedly asked " Vatsalya."

Vatsa snapped out of her ramblings when Miss Rani addressed her. "H-Yes, Miss Rani?" she said, quickly straightening up in her seat, hoping Miss Rani hadn't caught her lack of attention.

Vatsa felt Miss Rani's stern gaze and the weight of her words

Miss Rani asked with narrowed eyebrows, "Where is your attention, Vatsalya ? You shouldn't be talking during my class."

Vatsa, not wanting to be embarrassed, attempted to cover her tracks. "Maam, I wasn't talking. My full attention was on the class " she assured Miss Rani, hoping to avoid further trouble.
