IDEMS Ch. 30. Guest Makeup, Finale Begins!

When Meng Ningling heard the voice of her manager, who was struggling to suppress his anger, Qi Yanning was busy doing makeup for other artists.

This final night was highly important for the program team, even requiring three rehearsals for makeup. The trainees' makeup had already been arranged four to five days in advance. After three rounds of practice, the makeup artists and their assistants could successfully complete the looks without needing Qi Yanning to solve problems on the spot.

Qi Yanning's task was to do the makeup for the guests invited by the program team.

For this final night, six guests were invited. Among them were a host and two singers who had been decided midway through the program, while the other three were only confirmed in the last couple of days.

As the popularity of Your Star soared like a rocket, the number of artists wanting to participate in the final night was overwhelming, and the program team received numerous inquiries and probes every day. Even with their backing from Chenxing Entertainment, they found it hard to cope.

After all, Chenxing Entertainment couldn't single-handedly take on all the other companies in the industry.

Thus, after various negotiations, the three guests were finally confirmed.

One was a rising new-generation host promoted by a certain satellite TV station. His appearance on the show was a resource exchange with Chenxing Entertainment, allowing the Your Star debut group to participate as flying guests in a popular variety show of that station. If the effect was good, that station would prioritize considering members of the Your Star debut group for future programs.

The second guest was a rising star from a certain company. She had just played the second female lead in a drama, where she performed impressively, and her popularity was rapidly increasing. To participate in the Your Star debut night, her team agreed to clear her schedule to take part in the MV shooting for the debut group's first album and help with promotion.

...And the last one was Meng Ningling.

She had a good mother. Meng Ningling's mother was a well-known director in the industry. Feeling that she owed her daughter, she was extremely compliant with Meng Ningling's wishes. For this program, Meng Ningling's mother agreed to Chenxing Entertainment's conditions and would shoot two dramas for them afterward.

"Qi Yanning? That trainee with a bad reputation?" she said incredulously. "Then I absolutely don't want him to do my makeup! How disgusting; who knows if he has any diseases!"

The manager felt helpless, unable to calm down for a long while.

"Excuse me." A staff member knocked on the door, then peered through the crack, wearing a standard fake smile. "Sorry, Ms. Meng, the trainees next door are filming, and our soundproofing isn't very good, so..."
