"Di.. I'm just thinking how difficult this corporate world is," Santu said
Haseena just smiled.
"But..yeah nothing" Santu paused
"All right!" Haseena didn't urge her
"But Di.."
"Hmm.."
"You handle it so brilliantly, Di."
Haseena laughed. " You're not getting panipuri ya any junk food for one week. So stop buttering me up."
Santu frowned.."What? I'm not buttering you up. And why are you saying 'no panipuri?'"
"I said no junk food, and that includes everything you crave," Haseena clarified "And yeah, I know I handle it well. You don't have to say it" She concluded.
"Why don't you let me give you a compliment?" Santu asked
Haseena chuckled, seeing Santu being grumpy.
"Kiddo..." Santu didn't respond.
"Kiddo, hold me tight!" Saying this, she sped up, and Santu quickly hugged her.
"Di, Di! Why do we love each other so much?" Santu asked.
"No, I love you more than you do," Haseena teased.
"No chance! It's me who loves you more," Santu retaliated, laughing.
Haseena just grinned and stopped in front of an ice cream parlour.
"Di, you are just awesome.." Santu said.
"I know, girl..who needs your validation?"
"Arey yaar, why are you not giving me a chance to praise you? I don't like you. Pushing Haseena, Santu turned around."
"Hihi, kiddo."
"Now what?" Santu asked.
"Nothing my dear, come"
Getting inside, she ordered Santu's favorite Oreo milk Shake.
"Di, I don't get it. What's your issue with Oreo shakes? And what's with this grape juice? How can you stand the taste?" Santu asked, scrunching up her face in confusion.
"Happily enjoy what you have, Santu. Or should I order pomegranate juice instead?" Haseena questioned.
"Why you getting all fired up, yaar? Grape juice is awesome, right?" Santu rattled on, Haseena smiling at her energetic chatter.
"Di..I know I'm super cute and you keep on adoring me. You know, you're really lucky to have me in your life." Santu's boasting session came out of nowhere.
"Yeah, I'm really very lucky! Thank you for coming into my life. You're a pure soul, my child," Haseena said affectionately.
"Di, what happened today? You're getting so emotional?"
"You started first na?" Haseena said
"Wow, Di, you've suddenly become a full-on soap opera queen!" Santu joked.
"Hey, why do you keep calling me a serial actress from TV?" Haseena said, playfully scowling.
"Because you're!" Santu started annoying her sister
"Ha! Now, let's see how you'll survive without this!" Haseena glared, grabbing Santu's Oreo milkshake.
"Oh, so sensitive! LKG student, indeed!" Santu teased, folding her hands. "Di, sorry yaar, it was just a joke! Give me my shake back, please?"
