"It's not even October" Beyoncé contested, "it's still my birthday for 2 more days!"
Megan came up behind her with a grin on her face. Beyoncé's birthday lasted the entire month of September since Megan spoiled her every day of the month. Even more than she usually did. "I know" she said kissing her shoulder. "And you can have all my attention right after I carve this pumpkin."
Beyoncé released a deep and arduous sigh rolling her eyes for dramatic effect. "It's not even October" she groaned in response. She didn't know why Megan was so obsessed with Halloween.
"I know but I gotta take the picture to post on October 1st" Megan said and Beyoncé shrugged her off of her.
"You're such a nerd, do you know that?"
"Yep! And you love my nerdy ass" Megan nodded satisfied.
"Whatever" Beyoncé replied pulling her in for another kiss. "You want me to help?"
"Yeah," Megan knew she was only offering to help so that she could ask Meg to make a pumpkin pie later on. But she accepted the help anyway, allowing Beyoncé to design the face.
The older girl turned the eyes into hearts and Megan watched her draw out the design. Meg was going to make the pie later anyway. Beyoncé never had to ask.

"Babe, who do you wanna be for Halloween this year" Megan asked as they were sat on the sofa. Beyoncé had her feet up in Megan's lap while she snacked on the candy corn Megan refused to touch.
"Don't know, what do you wanna do?" She was focused on watching the film, which Megan insisted on talking over. It was a habit she had with films she'd already seen, whilst Beyoncé paid attention as if missing any detail would ruin the whole movie.
