Two days had passed since Jungkook's initial conversation with the Kim family.
Jungkook had also confessed when Taehyung told them the truth.
Now, the entire Kim family gathered in their living room, eager to discuss Jungkook and Taehyung's relationship.
Taehyung, now recovered from his fever and mild wounds, sat beside Jungkook, his legs and forehead still healing.
"This is unacceptable!" Roshan exclaimed, his face reddening. "What will people think?"
Simmi's expression remained calm and collected. "We can't deny Taehyung's happiness. He's our son."
Grandpa's brow furrowed. "But a boy marrying another boy? It goes against tradition, against nature!"
Roshan nodded vigorously, his incredulity evident. Taehyung's eyes remained downcast.
Jungkook's voice remained calm and steady. "I understand your concerns, uncle, but love knows no boundaries - not gender, nor tradition. Taehyung and I are happy together, and that's what matters."
"Love is love," Jungkook emphasized.
Taehyung's voice trembled as he grasped Jungkook's hand. "Bub, please... We're... not hurting... anyone. We just want... to be together."
Jungkook drew gentle circles on Taehyung's knuckle, Tae sulked.
Other Kim, family members sat silently and concerns etched on their faces.
Simmi's voice was firm and resolute. "Roshan, we've discussed this. We'll support Taehyung's decision. Our son's happiness is paramount."
The room fell silent, tension palpable.
"But think about the future," Roshan pressed on. "What about children? What about societal acceptance?"
Jungkook's expression remained calm. "We'll face those challenges together, as a couple. We want our family approval, support and we can adopt children."
Taehyung's eyes welled up with tears. "This won't be easy, booj?" Taehyung thought, his heart aching.
Jungkook sensed Taehyung's distress and wrapped his arms around him. "We'll get through this, Tae. We have each other."
Taehyung looked away. "Don't talk to me."
Jungkook's brows furrowed. "Are you on my team or theirs?"
Taehyung rolled his eyes, turning to Jungkook. "We're a team, not your team."
Taehyung's deadly glare left Jungkook bewildered.
