You heard everything that just took place on the tv. You was handcuffed in a dark room blindfolded. Every 4 hours or so someone would come in and give you a shot. The shot was to drain your quirk levels so you wouldn't be able to use it.
You heard the door open you assume it was time for the shot so you took a deep breath. But the needle never went through your arm instead it was a hand grabbing you up to your feet.
