"Hell, man!" Hanni exclaims, chucking her phone for what feels like the fifteenth time since this romcom started. Honestly, I'm shocked the thing still works, but hey, it's a romcom, so logic takes a backseat—anything can happen.

The poor girl has been trying to reach her boyfriend, but that damn man is nowhere to be found. He isn't picking up her calls, he's not replying to her messages, and it's driving her crazy. He used to respond in seconds—what is this? Does he not care anymore, or did he join a secret mission and forget to mention it?

Frustrated, Hanni pours herself a glass of juice, muttering under her breath. But when she turns around, she nearly chokes on said juice. There, lounging by her pool like she owns the place, is Haerin. And what's more shocking? The girl is casually sipping wine from a glass Hanni is pretty sure came from her fridge. Of course, Haerin's dressed in an oversized t-shirt and shorts, legs swinging lazily in the pool that—surprise, surprise—doesn't belong to her.

Hanni marches over, arms crossed, towering over Haerin like she's about to start a protest. "Do you consider my things yours now? And, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember inviting you over."

Without missing a beat, Haerin looks up, totally unfazed, smirking like she's got the upper hand in a poker game. "Nah, I consider you mine."

Hanni rolls her eyes, unimpressed. Haerin, still grinning like the Cheshire Cat, stands up, wine glass in hand, facing her ex. "Also, just so you know, I've arranged some fun activities for us today. Obviously, it's on you."

"Us? Activities?" Hanni raises a brow, already sensing trouble.

"Oh my god, you're so slow," Haerin sighs dramatically. "We're going diving. And later, I've got a surprise planned. Trust me, you'll love it." She winks, taking another sip of wine.

Hanni nods, though mentally she's screaming. Her boyfriend isn't answering her calls, and now she has to spend the rest of the day with Haerin—the human equivalent of a persistent mosquito. But hey, it's either that or being alone on this overpriced island she's already spent too much on. She's got to make the best of it, right?

Lost in thought, Hanni snaps back to reality when she feels Haerin's presence... too close. Haerin's mischievous grin widens as she steps dangerously near, brushing the rim of the wine glass against Hanni's cheek. Hanni's eyes widen in shock, but of course, the mosquito isn't done yet.

Haerin leans in, her breath warm against Hanni's ear, sending a shiver down her spine. "Or," she whispers seductively, "we could just continue what happened last night."

Now, if it were anyone else, Hanni might have caved, but not for Haerin. With a swift move, Hanni kicks Haerin's leg, causing her to yelp and stumble, holding her leg in pain.

"What the hell, Hanni?" Haerin hisses, wobbling on one foot.

"Oops, sorry, Kang," Hanni pouts, but there's a devilish glint in her eyes.

"Oh, please, Pham," Haerin groans, slowly putting her foot back down. But before she can fully recover, Hanni steps closer, a dangerous smirk on her face, hands lightly resting on Haerin's shoulders. For a moment, Haerin's cocky grin returns, thinking she's got the upper hand again.

"Oh Pham, are you falling for me again?" Haerin teases, wiggling her eyebrows.

Hanni chuckles softly, leaning in even closer. "Oh, Haerin..." she whispers, her lips just inches away. Haerin stiffens, heart racing, expecting a kiss any second now. But instead—splash!—Hanni gives her a hard shove, sending her crashing into the pool.
