The IPL concluded with Chennai Super Kings winning the title and while his team faced disappointment, Ishan learnt from the experiences. Mumbai Indians lost the remaining matches and they couldn't secure a spot in the semi finals or final. However, instead of dwelling on the loss, he felt a sense of pride.

The team that won was one of his idols' teams and he couldn't help but feel they truly deserved the victory.

As he reflected on the season, a mix of emotions washed over Ishan. He was sad for his team's missed opportunities but was also filled with admiration. He recalled the moments when he watched MS Dhoni play, the passion and dedication that inspired him.

He realised that sports are not about winning or losing, it's about the love for the game. While his team may have not reached the finals, he celebrated the victory of his teammates.

He looks back on the memories that his team gave him in his first season with them. Each match was filled with excitement, laughter and a few tears. Those early experiences grew his love for the sport and formed friendships that he knew would last forever.

Ishan feels grateful for the joy his team brought him. It was more than any trophy. In his heart, he knows that these memories will hold a special place, reminding him of the passion and excitement.

His thoughts then get interrupted as he received a call from Aditi. Picking it up, he felt a rush of anticipation. Hearing her voice brought a smile to his face.

"Oye! Just wanted to congratulate you on an impressive debut season." Aditi exclaimed, excitement evident in her tone.

Her words washed over Ishan like a wave of warmth, lifting his mood. "Thank you so much." He replied, voice filled with gratitude.

They began to recall the season and she reminded him of the stunning shots he played and the moments that left everyone shocked.

Aditi then started to talk about his debut match, her voice light. "I still can't believe how you managed to play so well." She laughed and Ishan could picture her widening her eyes.

Ishan chuckled, feeling a sense of pride. "Yeah, intense wasn't it? I just tried to stay focused and not let pressure get to me." He replied, recalling the adrenaline that coursed through him during the moments.

"And your keeping skills? Seriously, teach me your secrets." Aditi teased, her tone light. They both laughed and Ishan felt grateful for her encouragement.

"I wish I could cheer you on next season." Aditi said.

Ishan felt a bit confused at her words. "Wait, do you think they will keep me?" He asked, his eyebrows furrowing slightly.

With a confident tone, Aditi reassured him. "Obviously! You played so well this season. You have proven yourself."

"Yeah, looking forward to another season with the team." He replied, a smile spreading across his face.

Aditi then got back to quirky observation mode and suggested. "You should post a pic of you playing with MI and caption it with that sentence you just said."

Ishan raised an eyebrow. "Which one?"

"Looking forward to another season with them!" She exclaimed. "You haven't posted anything in a while now and that would be nice."

Ishan teased her at the idea, playfully responding. "Trying to make me famous, huh?"

Then both laughed at the banter, enjoying the fun exchange of ideas and encouragement.

Aditi then asked. "So, how is your family doing? And what about everyone at the team?"

Ishan smiled, appreciating her interest. "All are doing good. My family is very supportive. And the team? It feels like a family out there."

Aditi smiled warmly at his response. "That's awesome. It is great to have such a support both at home and in the team."

Ishan nodded, his eyes lighting up. "Yeah, it does. They make the atmosphere fun. It's like we really understand each other now."

Aditi leaned against the headboard of her bed, curious. "Any memorable moments?"

Ishan thought for a while. "Yes! This game where we were facing a lot but we rallied together and came back to win in the last moments."

"Wow, I can only imagine the rush." Aditi said.

Their conversation then shifted to other topics and Ishan casually mentioned. "I guess I would be heading back to my home in Bihar."

Aditi nodded, although Ishan couldn't see her. "Same here. Gonna get back to Jaipur and hang out with my family and friends."

Ishan chuckled. "You know, everyone in my hometown is going to go mad over me after this season! Can't wait to see their reactions. Feels good to make them proud."

Aditi smiled at his excitement. "I know. And speaking about being proud, my family is over the moon about me winning the runner-up title in the pageant. It was a big deal for us."

"I remember how hard you worked for that." Ishan said, genuinely impressed.

"Yeah! It was after a lot of late nights and rehearsals, but worth it. Just like your game, happy to see both of our hard work paying off." Aditi replied, her eyes shining with pride.

As they wrapped up their conversation, Ishan teased. "Just don't go thinking that you are too famous as you are a runner-up. I am going to remind you who the real star is."

Aditi laughed. "Oyeee sun! With this season, wait until my family asks for your autograph."

She continued. "Remember, I'm still the queen of the pageant here."

"I'll charge your family for that. Gotta make some money from this fame." Ishan said, grinning.

They both chuckled as they dove into the topic of fame and shared stories of their friends who stayed grounded despite their success, realising that happiness comes from heart, not from spotlights.
