A man was laying in a couch like chair with some wires attached to his head and he was babbling more like mumbling with low voice to himself. A 28 years old woman who's a psychiatrist Dr. Ishika sharma, not the very best but a good one at that but she's assisting the senior psychiatrist to gain more experience and knowledge.

She turned the lights on in the room and takes off the wires from his head and went to make reports in the other room, from which she can hear and look at him but he can not. The doctor asked him some questions and he did answer but with a expression less face and she copied according to that to make her report. He sighed and got up and took some medication prescription.

She printed out the report in a hard copy and put them in a file, which will be sent to his address later on, when the senior psychiatrist will be done rechecking about his mental health.

The man, Aakarsh singhania, 30 years old man, a billionaire and rich to people's eyes, but suffering inside. Which led him to the psych department of the huge hospital. He was a major shareholder of the hospital too. She knew him too well. Since he comes to the doctor for regular check up about his mental health, she sees him regularly as per the appointments. He's a good man when he is HIM. kind, Intelligent, handsome, beautiful smile and glittered eyes could be rarely seen on his model like features.

He went out to the medical store inside the hospital, took his prescribed medications and left to home. No one knew what was wrong with him. Only he, his best friend who was with him in his worst and best, and the two doctors in the psych department of the hospital.

Many things happened since his childhood to early younger days, it stopped until he became the billionaire. The difference in his behaviour and mood swings just made the people around him to think that the stress took a toll on him and the incidents made him have anger issues. He never got what he wanted until recently, now everything works according to him, but then again it was too late for his mind and heart.

He went home, got freshen up and went to his secret room. The room gave off a dark and eerie vibe to it. He sighed and turned on the lights to see some photos, some sticky notes and some sketches he made about his imaginary life, wishing it could be real some day. The room was red in color with dark gray, almost black ceilings. It has a vintage vibe with modern home decors.

His mind snapped and he tilted his head and had a sick smile on his face. He scoffed at his own pantings. He saw everything in the room, roaming around and touching every drawing and photos with a wide smile. Then he remembered something and went out of the room closing the door to the secret room and covering it with sliding the book shelf.

He went to his balcony with phone in his hand. He called someone, his best friend, but he talked to him with cold and distant tone. Informing him about something,"I don't care, do it either way." He said and hung up on his friend who was still blabbering in confusion.

He smirked and made his way out of the room to go to his company, but he met with the family instead. His father Abhimanyu singhania was having his breakfast at the dining table. His mother Rupal singhania was sitting beside him.
"Come on beta, have your breakfast them go to company." He smiled normally and nodded, already walking towards the dining table.

His brother, Aman was sitting beside his father's other side with his sister, Aashna and his sister in law, Shivangi, started serving him poha and juice in their breakfast. His uncle and aunt, Shravan and Ashlesha, stared at him for a while and eating their own.

To be honest, they did understand that something was wrong with him but they can not ever guess it right, in fact, no one will understand when his mental illness will be revealed. So he went to the hospital early in the morning calling his psychiatrist to come early to the hospital, since he is one of the shareholder and his dearest patient, he complied with that.

He looked at his father as he called out to him. His father looked at everyone as if confirming something. "We have been looking girls for your marriage and we have liked one and fixed the meeting already. So come home early. We'll go to their place for you guys to meet."

He looked baffled then he remembered some days ago when they asked if he's ready for marriage, he agreed unconsciously. He sighed and nodded as ok and left for his company.

Now he has a whole different thing to overthink. His marriage. He haven't told his condition to his family yet. If he gets married, his wife will stay with him at home, in his room. She'll find out in no time that something's wrong with him.

He cannot do this wrong to someone. If his parents doesn't say anything about his mood swings, anger issues and odd behaviour as they liked to put it, them he'll talk to the girl about his mental condition. She'll ofcourse reject him. No one can be with a crazy person.

Yes, if he reveals his condition to others, that's what people will call him, a crazy person. He has DID, a rare disease. Ofcourse many must have been through it. But in India, they don't take seriously about one's mental health. That's how he got this.

DID, dissociative identity disorder. He has multiple identities inside him, like in his back of his head. He doesn't know, doesn't want to know, but still he knows well that there are 2 or more identities inside him. They are like other people in the same body with their own names.

One is Aashrit, a bit protective of their other identities, aggresive, smart but rude. When he comes out, others think that he has anger issues.

Second is a soft, child like, not that much little ut like a 7 or 8 year kid like. He usually shuts himself out in this condition and does whatever he wants, laughs, cries, plays, draws and if there is his friend to take care of him, he plays with him.

Third is, he doesn't know him well, which rarely appears. A side of him who wants love from anyone who can give it to him, but fails. They don't talk much in this situation. He hates everyone in this identity.

It's like, there is a space in his head where they live. They usually writes in dairy, whatever they did or met someone or even if they did nothing, they just announce their presence.

And the original is HIM. Himself. Mixture of everyone. Soft yet protective, angry yet composed. Quiet yet wants someone to love him and vice versa.

He doesn't want to commit to anyone because of this. No one will understand. No one can handle him. He barely can handle himself, his friend, Aaradhy helping in between. He knows that his nag of a best friend must exhausted because of him. He doesn't want to stress him out but he doesn't trust anyone to share this. But he need to tell the girl he's going to marry, if she agrees that'd be a miracle and he knows that won't happen.
