"So how were they? You like them"It was the next morning and Janae and Nyaisa were back on FaceTime, Janae wanted to know how ny felt about yesterday.

"Everyone is cool, cj pretty funny I like ceecee everyone coo"She answered as she got dressed, today was clean up day, grocery day and lastly she had to take her friend a gift for her birthday.

"Told you they was coo, we going bowling today and they asked me to invite you"She spoke and it made Nyaisa smile that they liked her enough to invite her again, but she was extremely busy today.

"I can't, my day already planned out and it's really busy"She responded as she grabbed her Keys exiting her apartment building.

"Reece also asked if you were coming"At Janae's words ny looked down at the screen, she smiled. As tempting it was she needed to go by her schedule so she didn't have extra work tomorrow.

"Tell him next time, I really need to get things done today. Invite me to whatever you do next and I'm there"She responds and Janae nodded.

"Ok I will, but I have to get ready because zay tryna take me to dinner. I'll call you back later"At her words Nyaisa nodded.

"Ok love you"

"Ok veggies, meat, now I need fruit"nyaisa walked to the fruit isle and picked up grapes, strawberries, apples and bananas.

"Excuse me"

She looked up, her eyes landing on a guy. Light skin, nice teeth and tall. After looking him over she kept her eyes on his face.

"Yea?"

"Ian even gon lie I been lookin at you, how old are you?"She smiled at his words, she leaned on her cart.

"I'm 21, you?"

"I'm 22, you look good"At his compliment she nodded.

"Thanks"

"Ion look good?"He joked while laughing, she laughed and shook her head.

"You mean you alrighttt"She joked while laughing, truth be told he did look good. But that didn't mean she had to tell him.

"I'll take it, lemme get to number or something"

"I'm in sweats, getting fruit and you want my number?"She asked finding it kinda funny, he immediately nodded.

"He'll yea"

Ny pulled out her phone as she handed it to him to put his number in, she then sent a text so he got her number as well.

"Alright I'll text you"He said as he turned to walk away, Nyaisa just nodded going back to shopping. She grabbed the last of her things and went to pay, after paying she loaded her stuff in her car then decided she was a bit hungry.

Stopping at chick-fill-a she got her a chicken salad meal, she got there milk shake as her drink.

She decided to go back home to unloaded her car before she dropped off her friend gift, the hotel was on the other side of town so she would put her groceries up first.

Making it home she ended up eating her food, then putting up her groceries. She showered deciding to take off her sweats, and change into a body suit.

She ended up also doing her cleaning cause she didn't feel like doing it when she got back home, after she finished she put her gift in her car and was on her way.

"Happy birthday"She spoke as she entered the hotel room, her eyes landed on her friend kie.

"Thank you pretty"She responded taking the gift out her hand, as my walked further in she saw more people.

"Heyy yall"She waved, she knew a few of them. Including kie's brother, her ex. The moment he saw her enter the door he looked up, he kept his eyes on her.

"Hey"He spoke and stood up, ny only waved. He was her one and only ex, showed her a lot of things.

He stood up while she turned back around to her friend.

"How are you? How have today been?"She asked.

"Really good, I had so much fun. Sad you couldn't come to the dinner"She spoke and Nyaisa nodded, truth be told she didn't come because she didn't know if she could sit through hours with her ex"

She now realized dating her friend's brother wasn't the best Idea, because doing that made her and lie less close.

"Me too, next time I will be here I'm sorry"

"It's okay, I understand. You be having shit going on so I can't blame you, but thank you for the gift"Nyaisa nodded tho she was still a bit upset she missed her dinner.

"Ok, I just came to drop off the gift tho. I didn't want to interrupt your vibe, but let me take you out like next Friday to make up for the dinner"She spoke but kie shook her head.

"You don't have to ny"

"I know, but I want to"She spoke and this time kie nodded.

"Ok text me and we can set it up"Ny nodded but as she turned around her eyes landed on jay, her ex. He was extremely close, he kept his eyes on her.

"Can we talk?"

At his question she shook her head no"no, I need to go. Maybe next time?"She said and nodded not waiting for his response, she turned walking back out the door.

"See you kie"

As she walked out she took a deep breath, she then entered the elevator. As it went down she looked at the time, it was almost 8.

She made it to the first floor and started walking towards the exit, she stopped when she saw a familiar face walking out a room.

The door read, staff only.

The person that walked out was Reece, he had his head down so he didn't notice her staring.

"Reece?"She wondered and he looked up at the sound of her voice, when his eyes landed on her he turned his direction towards her.

"Nyaisa"He spoke and she nodded.

"Yea"Her eyes remained on him, she didn't really know what to say. Looking down she noticed the jeans he had on with the white t, he look good and smelt good.

"What you doing here?"He asked.

"Dropping off a gift, what you doing? You work here?"She spoke remembering him walking out the staff room, but she was confused when he laughed.

"Naw, I own it"

At his words she tried not to look surprised"the building?"She asked and he nodded smiling at the face she was making.

"Oh, ok"She said and nodded, she noticed it got quiet so she spoke up.

"Ain't you supposed to be bowling?" She asked and he nodded.

"They pushed it back cause everyone had to do shit, I'm headed there now. You coming?"He asked already knowing nae told him she wasn't.

"No, I already told nae no"

"You ain't tell me no, so come on"

At his words she laughed, then shook her head.

"I'm not going"She spoke and he gave her a look.

"Why not?"

"Cause you didn't ask me, you telling me. Plus ion like being told what to do, I'll see you later"She spoke and turned heading towards the exit. With her back turned she couldn't even see Reece staring at her, he somehow liked the way she turned him down.
