The next morning she woke up in pain especially in her lower area she took a paracetamol and packed her school bag then she put in some baggy PE clothes and walked to school she did lessons until it was lunch they made more remarks about her she didn't eat again then it was PE she went to the changing rooms and went in an empty spot then she took off her hoodie and top when another two girls went in there it was the mean girl and another girl

N-no wonder Tim called her Smurf she's mainly blue
C-just put your top on already Lucy put on her baggy PE top and hoodie before going to warm up
She heard Nyla talking to all the other girls whilst the teacher was explaining the lesson

The next day at lunch Lucy was sat at the table on her phone when she felt something on her hoodie she turned around and saw Nyla cutting her top and hoodie they fell off so she put on her cut hoodie and went to her locker and got out her PE hoodie she went to last lesson then she went home and got dressed into another baggy top and hoodie the next day when she was in second period Tim cut off her clothes now she had no spare tops at break she went to the teacher and asked if she knew where lucy could find spared clothes Lucy went with the teacher and found a spare top and hoodie but it was really skinny and it was a crop hoodie and top so you could see her bruises she finished last period and went home she changed again her dad came in her room and slapped her really hard but she moved when he went to hit her again so he slapped her round the face really hard
LD-your not welcome in this house tonight go somewhere else
L-yes sir she replied she got her backpack and phone and then walked to a park she lay on the bench when she saw Tim and Nyla and a few others enter the park there was a new girl with them they looked at Lucy and started to make jokes again when the new girl told them to shut up and stop being mean she approached Lucy
A-hey I'm Angela what's your name
L-Lucy she replied
A-that's a nice name have you lived here long
L-no about a week that's it
A-maybe I can show you around sometime if your free
L-I'd like to but my dad would say no he doesn't let me out the house
A-then how are you here
L-I umm he just told me I could come out for a bit to get some air
A-we'll it's getting late let me walk you home
L-oh no don't worry about me I'm fine you can go plus your friends are staring at us and they don't like me so you better go to them
A-well then they can fuck off because I like you Lucy we're friends now so they'll leave you alone now so come on let's get you home

Angela left and lucy lay back down then she heard heavy footsteps it was her dad storming towards her Tim Nyla and Angela were staring at her she sat up and her dad came up to her and grabbed her by the neck pulling her up she heard Tim and Angela gasp her dad slapped her across the face and threw her to the floor
LD-next time I tell you to sleep outside I mean on the floor not a comfy bench my friend told me you were here you better come home tomorrow on time you stupid disappointment no wonder your mum left us he said as he kicked her in the stomach and on the leg then he started to walk away Lucy sat on the floor in a ball crying then her dad came over again and slapped her across the face he grabbed her it her hair and shouted in her face
LD-DON'T CRY I ALREADY SAID CRYING IS FOR BABIES STUPID KID He said throwing her to the ground again
L-y-yes sir she said as she bit her lip to stop herself from crying she waited until he was out of sight to move she winced as she stood up but she moved further back into a small grass area where it was clear she sat down and then she looked around but when she looked behind her she saw Tim Nyla and Angela staring at her in shock she turned red shit they had seen her dad she quickly turned around and scooted further back into the gate of the park she sat there shaking from how cold it was she could still feel Tim Nyla and Angela looking at her she heard the gate open but she didn't turn then she felt a hand tap her on the shoulder it was Angela
A-I saw what your dad just did to you Lucy that's not okay
L-okay and? It's not helping if i tell him to stop so
A-well I was thinking since were friends now and your staying at mine tonight then you might aswell come and have fun with me and Tim and Nyla i promise they'll be nice to you
L-I can't stay yours he's probably going to realise if u didn't sleep here and I don't want to burden your family
A-well at my house it's just me and my mum so she won't mind plus I don't have many friends so I'd love you to stay over
L-okay I guess I'll stay then
A-okay but first let's go in the park and have fun okay Angela said holding out her hand to help Lucy up
L-okay Lucy says as she took Angela's hand to get up they went in the park and Tim went to Lucy and hugged her Lucy flinched a little at the sudden movement
T-I'm sorry your dad did that and I'm sorry I cut your clothes
N-yea me too but I hope you can forgive us and maybe we can be friends if your willing to give us a chance
L-of course I'll forgive you and we can be friends I don't mind

L-i don't know I've never been to this park before so
T-It has normal park stuff so say something you like from maybe another park and we can show you
L-I've not been to a park since I was 5 I can hardly remember my life back then let alone stuff from a park

L-okay they go on the round about and spin a few times but Lucy gets off and sits down
