5 days before the party...

Golden Freddy was sitting at a small desk in the corner of the basement. He was the only one awake at the hour, and as much as he would like to have slept he needed to order decorations and special treats for the kids. The bear had papers scattered around the desk and floor nearby, and his computer was resting on his lap. He had many tabs open and was deeply concentrated on his work.

There was a noise behind Golden Freddy, the sound of movement as Spring Bonnie awoke. He turned around and looked at the golden-colored bunny.

"Good morning Spring." Golden Freddy said with little emotion in his voice.

"Well good morning Goldie," Spring huffed, a smile spread across their face. "You got lots of sleep last night I presume?"

"I didn't sleep at all last night," he replied, still not looking up from his work.

"What's new?" Spring sighed, tilting their head down and looking up. They crossed their arms. "You really should take a break from all of that and get a full night of sleep." They made a circular motion towards all the paperwork.

"I don't have time, a lot is going on in the next couple of weeks." Golden Freddy looked up at Spring, slightly annoyed at being bothered so early.

Spring huffed before turning towards their own desk placed next to Golden Freddy's. 'Their own' is not exactly how he would put it, seeing as all of his papers were on their desk. It didn't seem to bother them that much, but he knew they liked to use it and would not appreciate his stuff being on there too long.

"Sorry." Golden Freddy mumbled, not actually feeling any remorse. He looked at the mess on the desk before going back to his work.

After a minute of silence Golden Freddy heard footsteps ascending the stairs. He took a brief second to look up and see Spring leaving the basement. Spring looked back at him, their emerald eyes glaring over to Golden Freddy in a firm but understanding way.

"Just... try to get some sleep." Spring said, looking directly into Golden Freddy's black eyes. "Before you cause harm to yourself." They left, closing the door behind them.

Golden Freddy sighed, and looked back at the paper he was currently working on. He was ahead on all the work he had to do, and didn't need to spend all of his time working on the pizzeria work.

Looking at the time, he realized it was only around 7am, the others would not be up for another two hours. Begrudgingly, he sighed and walked over to his resting place. He sat on the floor, and powered off.

Golden Freddy made his way up the stairs towards the breaker room, which leads to the main area. He opened the door connected to the back of the stage and emerged into a beaming light. He squinted and waited for his eyes to adjust.

"Good morning Golden Freddy!" He heard from across the room. He looked up, his eyes finally adjusting, and saw Freddy walking over. "I'm surprised you are up so late, I would think you would start setting up before we even powered on?"

"I was a little tired." Golden Freddy admitted, yawning from the thought of going back to bed. He was still exhausted.

"Oh sure, you stay up quite late if I recall." Toy Freddy walked up behind Freddy, undoing the knot in a string of balloons.

"Yeah well, I have a lot to do." Golden Freddy admitted. He looked down at Freddy's hands, which were holding a plastic clipboard. Although he couldn't see what was on them, Golden Freddy assumed it must be decorations and a planner of sorts.
